Bought this detector from Skate. It's near perfect as discricribed in classifieds. I think it came blessed too. First dig ever 1943 war Nickel. Only the second war nickle I have found in 25+ years of detecting. I have already pulled 3 other silvers from this spot with my old detector. Thanks Skate.

California, the thing is I am willing to hike into the most remote, hellish canyons to get it. Most of those days were 12 hrs plus in 100 deg heat. If its horrible to get too, the odds go up. I'm still blessed with the strength to do it.

This is some of my sniping results. Each picture is one day of sniping. Second pic was almost 3/4oz, with a 8.9gram. Best day ever and biggest nugget to date. I have more but those are most of the good ones.

I was forced to quit my job in February 2020. As we all know COVID struck about the same time. So having no job and living in gold country I decided to take up prospecting as much as possible. These are some of the results. Detector GPX4500 and GM1000. Many thanks to forum members for sharing and helping with info nessary to find this stuff.

Gold Bug Pro has my vote too. Great for the price. If you get one check out articles and info from trinityAU aka Ray Mills. Had a great detecting for gold book and was a big fan of the GBP.

Thanks guys, my brother is looking at them. He's currently running a GMT. But it's starting to get glitches. I suggested the 24k. Do you know if the gmt coils will work on the 24k?

I have a gpx4500. Ihave done fairly well with it but am not getting many targets in my spots. I know there is more there but it's either too small or out of reach with my current setup. I have a GM100 which is cleaning up the little stuff. My current couls are 10x5 joey, 10x14 nugget finder advantage and a stock 11" dd. The 10x14 nugget finder is getting really beat up and falsing etc. Looking for a new coil to get those deeper 2-4 gram nuggets. Terrain is creek bottom with some hot rocks. Hoping there is a chart or such about what I can reasonably expect from a certain coil. IE 14"evo will normally hit a 2g nugget at 12". Or something like that. Thanks

What size are your tent poles? Diameter and length. I have a bunch of poles in a box, a few sizes. Might have one you can use. I'm just over the hills in west point ca.

Does anyone know where I can buy a new quick track button? Mine broke and all I ca. Find is the handle and button together. I ca. Probably fix mine but it would be nice to be able to find a new one. Thanks
