The. Larger nuggets come from the head piles. I used to find lots of nuggets in the old winnoning piles, they lost morre gold than the dry washers.

I no longer care.

I would rather dig iron than spend a bundle for a expensive discriminating detector that dint go deeperthan the existing ones. Where l nugget hunt l don't find much iron.

Maybe you could have locked the wheels on the cart and made a sled and slid it down.

My 2nd detector back in 1963 was the same as the 3rd from the left, top row, I believe it was called a Gold Master. The only gold I ever found with it was a gold ring in the Denver City park. Those BFOs were not very deep and the batteries were kinda spendy. Found lots of shallow coins tho.

That must be one that I missed. LOL

I have a GB2 a GBP Pro a GMT an F75 and a Deus, don't think I need another VLF nugget hunter. Since I am not familiar with the Fors I was just wondering.
I agree the GB2 is the best for small, small, gold, but not as deep on larger pieces.:-)

I too started out witha Whites BFO Gold Master and it left a lot to be desired when compared to my buddies fisher T 10. KMVs. Little monster was just as good as the Gold Maaster, IMO.
