  1. I was lumping you in with us D2 owners that would probably jump on a small elliptical coil, Jeff. 😉
  2. When in doubt, read the manual... 😉 https://www.xpmetaldetectors.com/uploads/files/document/mi-6-mi-4-27042023.pdf
  3. You'll get it, gopher. Here's a link to the Go Terrain manual: https://www.xpmetaldetectors.com/uploads/files/document/manuel-go-terrain-en.pdf
  4. That's a great end to the hunting year, F350, well done again! 😎
  5. Amazing seated dime, lmpd, it looks almost uncirculated! Congrats and well done! 😎
  6. While I agree with many points expressed here, I also think there would plenty of D2 owners in the US and overseas that would happily jump on a small elliptical FMF coil. Maybe a trial first run would show what the market would bear. I would be glad to beta-test one in my hot iron dirt! 😉
  7. That's a good looking mount/case, S d!😎 I 3D printed up a case similar to that one to take on my beach trip in September but never used it. I generally use a "Top Locking" mount that has a nice tight fit to the remote and I also use a short lanyard fixed to the remote and upper shaft so if the mount breaks or the remote is knocked off, it doesn't get lost. I've only had one earlier version printed mount break so I reprinted at 100% infill with polycarbonate filament and no breakage so far (about 4 months) and the remote hasn't popped off either. 😏
  8. I'm sort of there too since getting my 11", but there are places that I go that a skinny coil will allow a few extra inches of motion and that can be a game changer for my hunting. That being said, if space is not a problem, there are ways on a D2 round coil to narrow the separation and simulate an elliptical coil, but as is often the case, being able to slip into tight areas can get more overlooked finds. I think we will eventually get the 9x5" or 10x6" coil whenever XP determines it is a go. And when we do, I will have an excuse to return to the impossible hunting areas to find the hidden goods. 😉
  9. Congrats on the gold & diamond ring, Wasatchgold, well done! And from the looks of your wife's ring collection, you're doing awesome! 😎
  10. I don't understand "mooted", what does that mean?
  11. Same here. I just haven't decided if I need to make the switch or not.
  12. What an awesome start on your new permission rod-pa, congrats and well done! I look forward to what else you may discover there. 😎
  13. I was wondering if High SQR was similar to the way PWM relays target information and it sounds like it is from many of the responses I've seen. I still haven't been able to get out and test it myself because I have family home for the Holidays. So thank you all for the replies and I wish you all Wonderful Holidays! 🎅
  14. Thanks! 👍 I think the round pouch I bought was $9 but that one's not listed anymore. There are several other vendors carrying them though, here's a few different ones: https://a.co/d/gB3SuhW https://a.co/d/3Hhn2cX They come with a removable clip/strap so I just removed mine and got some molle clips and used one for a quick release. https://a.co/d/ivb5cF0 😎
  15. I think the 9" and 11" coils were the proof of concept designs for the initial Deus 2 marketing and they work phenominally well. Then the 11x13" was released and works just as well, so I would think a small elliptical would round out the stable nicely and it doesn't need to be waterproof necessarily. It would be nice, but I'd take a "Land Only" version for relics and trashy parks. Just my take on it, the beach and water hunters may think otherwise. 😏
  16. Awesome finds again, Sinclair, congrats and Well Done! And that coins is incredible!!
  17. That's an awesome rig, F350! 😎 Here's my current Relic Rig... It's a variation of my Park Pouch sling. It has a small round pouch to hold my WSA-II and earbuds when not mounted on the back of my hat, MI-6 and punch/probe, Gerber knife, good finds keeper & larger good finds zipper pouches, Water bottle, @kac's experimental soil/root knife, and expandable main trash pouch which also holds my MLTools Soil knife. The whole kit slings over my right shoulder to my left side and is kept in place with a wrap-around waist belt. Easy-Peezy, no lemon squeezy! 😉
  18. Congrats on the gold rings, Dan(NM), well deserved and well done! 😎 You should build a Lead Thrown! 😉
  19. I haven't downloaded this app yet but I came across this video. Has anyone experienced this?
  20. You folks in the North Star State are a hearty breed! 😎 I try to detect all Winter too between freezes and thaws. At some point it usually freezes everything hard and many places will stay frozen until the Spring thaw. We've had more early freezes this year though so I just try to get out when I can. 😉
  21. I agree with JCR, take several good clear photos ofthe stickers before attempting to remove them. Is the sticker paper or plastic? A careful use of a heat gun or hair dryer and some tweezers starting on a corner may do the trick. Just start with the lowest heat setting first to see if there is any release without melting or burning. If you do get the stickers off or need to mount the photos you'll need to get some photo grade spray adhesive to make it stick to the inside of the lid.
  22. Good haul, sohN! Congrats on the silver coinage, that's what we like to see! Well done!!! 😎
