  1. Very nice nuggets for your hard work, I hope that you had fun on the hunt and learned more about the detectors and coils. That way it will be easier to take the right equipment the first time and find more on your next hunt.

Good luck and stay safe out there.

I took my detector for a spin on a lake beach yesterday, remote, at least an hours boat ride from the nearest human inhabitants,

Thank you and your wife for the beautiful pictures as it looks like a nice beach and a nice boat.

Congrats on the finds and you never know what out of the way areas are going to produce.

Good luck on your next outing and stay safe.

  3. Very nice saves, and I am so glad that you did not post a picture of all the trash that you must have dug to recover those items. That would have been a whole truck load of trash if it were in this area.

Good luck in this new year on your hunting and stay safe out there.

Just do it Mr. Legacy.. You'll never have to wonder no more.

Sad part about when I am working there, I work to many hours to do anything else. I only wish there were more hours in the day to get things done now as it is.

I am hoping to be able to detect down there this year, as I am hiring a couple of people to help on the jobs that we have coming up. I am thinking that if I can find the right people I will be able to take off at least 2 days a week.

Then we will find out what the Nox will find down there.

  5. For best results use the factory settings on Beach 2 and dig everything for several reasons.

When digging everything you will learn what tones are for what items in general. With that stated remember that some items will also have the same tones as others.

Second thing is the preset programs are as good as any that you can add as a newbie.

Third thing is keep your sense at a level that is comfortable for you, I keep mine around 20 as it gives me depth and keeps some of the EMI out.

I have tried it this way on Fort Walton Beach with good success.

There are many other reasons, but try this first and learn the unit as it will take time to be good at it.

    Good luck and good hunting.

I used one I found at the beach for my wedding band.

I guess that your wife knows that you are cheap from doing that by now, I hope that you actually paid for hers instead of digging one up. Just kidding.

Very nice items and great saves.

Good luck on your hunts this new year and always stay safe out there.

  7. Very nice save on that beautiful ring, and I am sure that she will take care of it for you.

When I am out with my girlfriend panning for gold and she see's a nugget before I do she claims it.

With her it is better not to argue about it and miss out on what ever happens later that night.

Good luck on your new adventures in 2023 and always stay safe out there.
