  1. Yes, the yellow switch is the Mode switch. If your pair had the Audio Limiter it would be black. It's a shame they won't work. I remember reading Equinox/Minelab is odd on wired HPs. They may make a pair specifically for the Equinox 900 if you call them. I wouldn't take for mine on the Tarsacci & Vista X.
  2. Nice Marlin rifle receiver & skinning knife. All in very nice condition. Should be a legible serial number on the stripped receiver. That all looks like things you would find at an Indian campsite.
  3. Did you play around with the Limiter & Mode switches on your Killer B's?
  4. Yes, just being out in a natural environment is often it's own reward.
  5. Those are all very interesting items in nice condition. The second site has some significant age of activity. Thanks for posting.
  6. Maybe so, but they will answer the Xterra Pro in some form.
  7. It is still fun to play around with the capabilities of older detectors.
  8. Many a local Gold/Silver rush was started by speculators salting claim area back in the old days. Nothing new under the Sun, just different people doing it.
  9. From what I have seen on the new Simplex Ultra, it has significantly faster signal processing & power than the current Simplex+. This is in addition to all the extra features and hardware upgrade, If Nokta choses to introduce it as a SSF machine, the modification of the coil may be the bigger delay. Who knows. They could introduce the Base model as a Single frequency unit and offer SSF on the midline & Ultra or just the Ultra. It is all just a guess on my part thinking I have a feel for Nokta's marketing savvy. They aren't about to let Minelab out wit them so easily.
  10. I look for Nokta to release the Simplex Ultra as a Selectable Single Frequency (5,10,15&20kHz) and still match or beat the price of the X-Terra Pro. We will see.
  11. Good to read again. Thanks for posting both again.
  12. Good video. Thanks for linking to it.
  13. Patience. Nokta has followed through on everything I can remember they have stated about their past intentions. I feel sure they will introduce a family of PI detectors that have cutting edge features and be very adaptable to Relic, Saltwater & Prospecting/Gold detecting. The price to value received will be a market changer. I'm as antsy as anyone for it to be announced.
  14. The Vista X is right there too even though it is a sort of hybrid analog/digital process. Excellent headphones are a must.
  15. I have dug those at certain sites. I believe they were used to fasten Slate roofing tiles. The house I lived in as a teenager used those & one of the sites I have found them has a standing Carnegie Library building with original Slate roof.
  16. It's exciting to drive by a familiar place and see fresh dirt. You just never know.
