That coil is excellent for all around use.

Mine is still on my High School Ag jacket hanging in the closet. Solid Brass pin.

Very interesting. That is something specific for sure. The disc appears to be soldered on looking at the back side.

Very good hunting to find a spot like that. Makes you wonder if the house was suddenly destroyed somehow to find that kind of concentration of targets. Perhaps a tornado? No signs of fire damage.
-
Your finding your groove now. It seems to always take me a hunt or two on a new site to really get dialed in for the targets that aren't gimmes.

That's a pretty good haul. Warm here in Texas too.

IHPs are always nice. The tag is a pretty unique find.

Centerville Electronics may very well have a NOS screen lens for it.

Welcome from East Texas. The Legend is a very usable & capable machine.

The larger coil makes a noticeable improvement in the overall performance of the unit. Hard to describe but the machine seems bolder.

Welcome back from East Texas.

What is it made from, Brass? If so, I would not unless as a very last resort and then at a very low wattage with the good side coated heavily in Vaseline.
A composite cleaning pencil would be my first choice.

Use spring steel; like the tension rods used to hold up the trunk deck lids of older passenger cars.

My understanding is that they are very similar. DP on Minelabs is said to be the most sensitive to faint targets. I have not been able to see that on the Legend’s Pitch vs the other tone choices. I usually run in 60 tone. For me Pitch is a special circumstance option.

It is amazing to me because of where I have lived all of my life, that a can old enough to have been vacuumed sealed with a solder dot is in such wonderful condition. I am assuming that it was found outside, not somewhere protected from the elements.

Distilled White Vinegar works well on iron relics.

Glad to hear you are both still working the site “smart”. Interesting about the Manticore frequency performance. The D2/9” should shine there. Keep us informed on your progress.

Congratulations on your good fortune and even more for your recognition of the opportunity and hard work.

I would contact either Nokta themselves or Andy at their USA repair center.

Good video of the Nexus in action. Thanks,

That is a special find for sure.

Dang. Computers hate you worse than they do me.
Lg24 Coil How Well Do You Like It??

Mind your Recovery speed/Sweep speed. Recovery 1 needs to be quite slow unless it's a near surface target.
