As an outsider, I am reading this thread with interest. A question out of curiosity: is it possible to provide a simple schematic diagram showing the parts and values used and the attachment points on the circuit board? I know it would help me understand. Thanks.

I agree with Jasong and Jawbone. It looks like a zeolite and probably natrolite. But as Jasong mentioned, without more detail and context, it is difficult to be certain.

Chiil: You've just brought up a very good point that is actually a good piece of advice for all of us no matter the brand of our detector. We may inadvertently forget and leave our detector in a hot environment, and later pay the price. A good word to the wise for all of us. Thanks for the "heads up" warning.

I am still in the learning phase about coils and have a question about Detech coils. Has anyone conducted a test or field test of Detech coils vs Nel coils vs other after market coils vs stock coils, especially for any of the Whites instruments? I am especially interested in results for the TDI series or Goldmaster 24k? Just curious. Thanks in advance for any help.

Jim: Thanks. I know Cominco American (Company may have a different name now) was at one time conducting diamond exploration in that general area. That is why I asked the question. I was curious if they were the ones doing the drilling. I was told that they had changed company names, but I'm not certain of the details.

Jim: Do you know, per chance, who did the drilling for diamonds, and if so can you share the information? Just curious.
