  1. thank you i am learning a lot and appreciate your knowledge and everyone's patience
  2. i hear you. what i meant and should have said was a coiltek 11" upgrade version
  3. i would have liked to seen the vanquish coils v8x5, v10x7, v12 size weight and quality build for the equinox and a 11"&15" round. i got to be honest and maybe because i am ignorant but i am disappointed with all 3 of the new coils. i guess i am the village idiot. i will purchase the 10x5 and btw i was hoping for a new improved version of their own 11". quality build wise.
  4. overall does the vanquish have the better coils in regards to size and weight? they are well made... v8, v10, v12
  5. Santa Clause was dowsing. i know because i saw him. i swear it is true. he gave me and my detector a big jolly laugh. boy did i feel stupid.
  6. place a small gold needle in a large hay stack . dowsing vs metal detector. and bet who wins. by the way i don't care if dowsing works it's inconsistent at best and it does not work. would the dowser even show up to the contest? not likely
  7. throw away those bits of wire and use your metal detector instead. my detector(s) can find a needle in a hay stack and a whole lot more
  8. First Texas missed the wave when they didn't go waterproof and wireless with their vlf's. imagine the f44 waterproof, wireless and possible dual frequency. that would be a fun machine
  9. XP and Nokta Makro will respond. they do not have to beat Minelab only compete with them. they do not have to become No.1, they only right now have to catch up to Garrett and then become the best No.2. It won't be easy but it will be more possible than conquering the Minelab Mountain. XP still has a few surprises.
  10. the quality build of the vanquish coils is impressive and i like well built waterproof coils, so it was easy for me to justify getting the 10" coil after i bought the vanquish pro pack. the 10" coil for me seems to complete the pro pack kit. the vanquish has its limitations so having all 3 coils gives it an edge and i believe its full potential. the 10" coil is my favorite coil when using the vanquish. its lighter than the 12" and covers better than the 8". and the vanquish gets great depth with any of the 3 coils. a nice budget machine
  11. i agree, high energy light beam quality and beyond, with greater pixel definition(s) and enhanced visuals. the more clues science can give us the better
  12. codan new additional boilerplate language and codes indicate near future price hikes. 2021-2025
  13. i had the kruzer and multi kruzer. i really enjoyed them and their quality overall. i sold them and bought the XP ORX with the 9" hf and the 11" x35 coil and WOW! I really love it.
  14. i always factor in warranties and which detector has greater potentials. which detector will give me the edge in a most conditions, environments and climates.
  15. update and improve the Garrett ATX timings and coils, lighter housing and new color and market it as less expensive alternative against the GPX 6000. Garrett has nothing to lose and everything to gain, the ATX is in need of a new rebirth
  16. yes prices will be going up and it will involve more than holiday deals and bundle deals.
  17. contact minelab for exact information. i did not have those issues when i had my 5000. so much is speculative, go and ask the manufacture for the straight scoop.
  18. no regrets selling, no regrets buying. not buying and selling is regretful.
