If that is it, i like the looks of the setup. But we all know looks don't win the dance contest. I have a feeling Garrett knows what's at stake though with this release. If it doesn't at least compete with what's already out there, i can't see it going well.

I've had the pleasure to own just about every tesoro that came down the pike. One in particular that didn't get much love that was a favorite of mine was the DeLeon. I had the 12in factory concentric coil on it and it was a beast. If i could hit the undo button, that one would still be here.

For me, it doesn't have to outdo the eq, legend just be competitive with them, i'd love to spend my money here in the states. I think garrett has great build quality, just a little lacking in the tech side. I had an apex and liked it but it just didn't perform for me on grass like the other mentioned machines. I don't beach hunt so that's not on my list of wants , give me and apex package with the eq performance and i'll be first in line.

It would be great if they could put it in a package like the apex and compete with the eq, legend machines. The only Us company that still has a decent pulse and good marketing skills. I still see al lot of at's out in the wild today. I'd love to support them.

It seems you are right on the money with how sales are going to be moving in the future. I fell victim to the $199 no tax, free shipping f70. Not much more than a good pinpointer or coil and, i've owned one before and a tek patriot so i know whats what on them. My bride on the other hand said, if you liked it so well why'd you get rid of it. Phht, she 's not a detector head so she'll never understand. I just hope customer service doesn't fade away with all the amazon sales.

Haven't seen the ultimate till now. I've seen some good reviews on the nel superfly and the nel hunter. So many coils, so little time.

I've always been a dance with who brung ya kind of guy with coils and pretty much the largest coil on the 75 i've used has been the stock dd. Been looking around at the aftermarket coils and am intrigued by some of the larger ones. I don't think i'd want to go with a huge one but maybe just a little bit bigger than the stock because i don't want it to weigh a ton. Just wondering some opinions on what success (or disapointments) you've had with aftermarkets.

I just wrap mine with a layer of electric tape, so much easier to wipe off when it gets dirty. When you take it off, the foam grip looks like new.

Yep, i grabbed a new f70 for $199. If you think the f75 and t2s can't keep up in the depth dept., you haven't given one a fair shake. They are as deep as most on the market today. Sparky? yes but still manageable. I have an eq 600 and sure it gets it done but i switch back and forth between the f75 and the eq and am pleasantly surprised sometimes which one shines on any given day. I originally was looking for the concentric coil for my 75 and for the money it made more sense to buy a whole machine with that coil for like $50 more.

My 600 is not holding as long a charge as she once did. I purchased new in 2018 so it doesn't owe me anything. Wondering where the best place is to get a replacement battery. I'd hate to go the ebay route. thanks

It is a simple performer. Can get deep when needed. I'm glad I went with the x35 coil. I look at it as a tone id machine overall, which is a good thing. My only gripe is the lack of a depth meter on the main screen but the modulation audio is pretty reliable.

Nice, Those dollar coins are always good to see. I wish they'd have caught on better than they did.

I let both my deus and orx go because of interference in my area. Some days it wasn't so bad and some days nothing worked other than dialing it back and getting sub par performance. You gotta wonder if all the wireless functions and separate power sources(batteries) are opening the door for more interference?
