New Fisher F19 Detector
deathray replied to Rick K - First Member's topic in First Texas - Bounty Hunter, Fisher & Teknetics
Yep Steve. And looks like they only added adjustable iron volume on a g2. Will have to have a boost mode too for me to think about it. Camo aint gonna get me more relics. -
yep Klunker, Keith is a gem.

Incredible!!!! -
Great Stories and pictures Rob!!! I bought a fj40 in 1986, still have it,but is now a lawn ornament, lol. I now use a 1979 hilux as my prospecting rig. Those fj45's are very rare here in the states, and go for a mint. Thanks again for the pics!!

love the FJ45!!!

The coil connection is my BIGGEST gripe about the AT's!! What kindof minifingered vice grip person came up with that design????
-
Good write up snd video Keith. I wish the iron audio was adjustable on the AT. I cant run mine in iron on, Gives me a headache. Steve, not thatthis means much, but I have both and pretty much stick with the GBPro most the time. My son has taken over the AT,he loves it. I do seem to notice the GB seems to find more lead, AT more coin type targets when comparing finds at end of the day. If you hunt sites with an abundance of old rusty tin pieces and bottle caps, its easier to i.d. them with the AT.

Me And My Old Minelab Sd2200d
deathray replied to Steve Herschbach's topic in Minelab Metal Detectors
Well put Ray and very hapy to see you onboard here! I think the best detector is the one you have the most confidence in. I believe it really helps to have that frame of mind that I will find something good. Unfortunately it doesnt work out that way for me too often, lol. -
I love my Garret...and its less $$ than the minelab. It will pick up on small stuff too,so should be good for gold thats a few grains and bigger. i dipped mine in that liquid plastic dip to protect against wear n tear.

NICE!!! -
Theres alot of Deus info on the Dankowski forum. From what was posted there,it is excellent at pulling conductors out of nails using the 18khz setting.

I second the GB Pro. A simple ,lightweight machine that excells in iron and has very accurate I.D. Nice price to. The technrtics g2 is same machine but comes stock with the larger coil.
