There's Still Big Gold In Western Australia!
deathray replied to Aureous's topic in Detector Prospector Forum
Jeez. That really bothered you? I guess working Construction for 32 years, it's the norm for me. -
Doubt if that's a fake. Never heard of a fake holed coin. I know a couple guys who have found Roman coins out here. People came from all over the globe, and some brought good luck pieces

AMRA is good, lots of claims. Josh Reinke has claims, you pay a fee, and hit em. -
Aussie 1914 Sixpence

Right on man! Cool surprise. -
Here's my advice. Don't take this personal, just trying to help. Unplug your headphones over a signal, so we can hear it. When you get the chance, maybe consider one of those chest mount go pros, so we can get a better look, and hear you better. Edit videos down a little more. I subscribed. Ray

Nice . You do a good job of cleaning up your finds. I'm usually wiped out at the end of a hunt. Relics pile up, till I get a rainy day.

Advice For New Detectorist With $500 Budget
deathray replied to RubenAlonzo's topic in Metal Detector Advice & Comparisons
You got some good recommendations, so here's my 2 cents worth...stick with what you get, and REALLY learn it. Put in the hours, don't let your mind tell you, you should have got "X". Keep at it, learn it's nuances, figure out with time what your favorite type of detecting is, and eventually...if you get the bug...you will maybe upgrade. With that said, hard to beat a Nox 600, unless your in a gold bearing area, and want to nuggetshoot. If you want to buy used first, to get the most bang for your buck, stick with buying from known people...like the forum members here. I've bought and sold dozens of detectors over the years, only 1 bad incident, and that was dude not including an extra coil that he advertised, actually still have, and use the detector. Good luck! -
No Brian. Just remember reading what guys like Keith Southern has said.

Nautilus did. And yeah, I think Blisstool too.

I believe AMRA and Josh Reinke have claims up there too. Join up, have at it.
