I always loved my fisher cz-6. It was a lot deeper than my other machine, but I dug a lot of crown caps that id as high coin.

I normally hunt with the HF 9x5 coil and do well with it, but I put the 9 inch HF coil on and it seemed to like bottle caps more. No matter what I did I just had a bottle cap day with the 9 inch HF coil.

I just received the Detecting Dodads charge clip last night and it works Great. Just slide it over the coil and the lights come on while it charges. I just hope it works for years to come 😄

I did go back to the target in question and after digging a little deeper in hard pan I found a smashed aluminum can that had given me the signal.

XP Hf 9x5 coil is the most incredible coil out there. I went out with our club today with the use of the xp deus and the 9x5 coil. I got a squeak of a signal, no VDI or depth indicator, but was repeatable. I asked another club member to come over as he had a 11 inch coil on his machine, but he could not hear it. I again went over and found the repeatable signal, dug down 1 foot deep, could find it with my pin-pointer, and with his in the hole after digging one foot deep. After a few more tries with the shovel I gave up on the target. I do not know what the target was, but it was a repeatable high toned signal on the xp deus.
