  1. I’m sold on getting one, always wanted a target ID on a pulse induction detector and I really like Evo coils.
  2. I hope they call the next generation E1500 the E1600, that way I can get the detectors for $1,500 & $1,600 🙃and still be able to use the interchangeable coils and battery systems. When backpacking in the outback all I would need to do is bring one detector with two pods, then switch out the pod when going for smaller gold and vice-versa for deeper gold detection. This Algoforce has so much potential to expand. Currently most top end Pulse Induction detectors such as GPX 6000, GPZ 7000, SDC 2300, Axiom, Garrett ATX, have no interchangeability with coils or shaft systems., so if Algoforce can bring back the good ole days of SD/GP/GPX interchangeable components, then zippy do da. All the way. 😄
  3. We have tried the 15” Evo on a modded 5000 and it does add quite a bit of performance over a stock 5000. hopefully Mick will send you a list of settings for best performance.
  4. Has anyone done any target testing against the 6000? I liked the one chart on Prospecting Australia, but have not seen any other small target test comparisons. I would like to do a test comparison using 0.05 gm 0.10 gm & 1.0 gm bits when I finally get a Eforce here in the states. This seems like a good size for testing its fast timing constants. Maybe I need to put WTB Eforce in the classified add, and hope someone decides to part with one, highly unlikely from the reports coming in. LOL
  5. I remember in JP’s GP 3000 &.3500 video’s he would always disconnect the power cord prior to coil swapping, so must of been a problem at that time. With the GPX system we get a coil overload, not sure but maybe this coil overload feature was a solution to the older GP series issues. I always follow JP.s example on every detector because i do not want to take a chance of damaging the front end.
  6. I have made the battery systems without the audio amplifier. If just using headphones you should be ok with out the audio amplifier. Let me know if you want more information about making your own system. SD uses 7.4 v GP uses 6.7 v GPX uses 8.4 v The Lithium camera battery’s are 7.4 v. But charge to 8.4 v, so a buck converter is need to reduce voltage for the SD/GP series only.
  7. Just glad we can use DD’s also now on the Eforce, this thing keeps surprising me on more good features. Running DD’s in mono mode is great, especially when we don’t need cancel mode as it seems to handle EMI well.
  8. Also agree, UPC tape for less residue or just plain electrical tape. The hard clips tend to still spin and actually makes dents into the softer coil cables, eventually creating a possible weak point or wire break.
  9. Simon, If we don’t hear back from you for a few day we will assume you’re finding lots of bits on your old flogged patches again. 😅
  10. These are all mostly stock bundle wound coils, with a couple of 18” DD’s. I will be getting a couple of Coiltek mono’s soon though.
  11. The Algo Force E1500 seems to be a very user-friendly detector even for the beginner. I like that it has a well thought out menu screen with many features that most PI users can benefit from or always wish they had. Thanks Nenad for taking the time to put this great learning video together. My favorite features are the left and right low/high tone bars for visually seeing the normal and inverted signals and the target conductivity ID pinpoint option, both could help in determining and helping to identify rubbish. The mic to headset option is great for hearing the rattlesnakes. Also glad the threshold pitch and noise frequency manual option is added on the menu like the GPX/Z legacy detectors had. I noticed all the coil preset options our Nugget Finder’s offered coil sizes. 😄
  12. Everyone will enjoy this feature, especially the beach hunters.
  13. Here’s the U.S. version, works great 😉
  14. Yes, I have used it for testing only and like it'd nice weight proportion. I was told they are not making coils anymore though.
  15. Looking forward to seeing the video and testing done. Thanks for sharing all this great information. Ron
  16. That seems very possible since they already have a detector platform started they could just add the different timings needed and a counter weight on it for balancing out the larger coils. Might go over 4 pounds though😉
  17. https://www.prospectingaustralia.com/threads/algoforce-e1500-new-pi-detector-from-ex-minelab-engineer.42049/page-2#post-676638 There’s another report on the Aussie forum describing how well the conductivity target ID is working on this E1500 PI. Also mentioned is some comparisons of different detectors on a range of targets.
  18. Nenad, thanks for putting all this together, very informative and interesting. Would you recommend that the 14x9”Evo is a good all around coil option for this detector and its timings considering the ground conditions you detect in there.
  19. The North America has sold all their inventory on the GPX 5000 with no replacements coming. Aussies our selling a one coil option package now, but someone on this forum mentioned once they are gone no replacement there also.
