  1. Sorry for delay in responding Peter been offline for the last couple of weeks.. Yes they work with direct pairing. With Noise Cancelling on it really helps with your focus and cuts out a lot of noise if you’re a scrubber like me.
  2. Avantree Aria Me Headphones are aptX HD and are programmable to your hearing loss just like your hearing aids.. They also have Active Noise Cancelling which can be toggled on or off. Absolutely recommend for 6000 users with hearing issues..
  3. Ok, First morning out with the Axiom here in WA. Could only manage a couple of hours due to shingles, (how long does it take to get over this, over 4 weeks now). Am reluctantly posting this as I don’t want to be the butt of a joke such as… ”Have you heard the one about the bloke in Oz who changed his 6000 for an Axiom”.
  4. Hi Norvic, Thanks again for the competition. The Prize arrived in the mail this morning. Cheers Den
  5. A detecting buddy of mine here in WA has a cochlear implant and has a device which he wears round his neck. This Bluetooths and noise cancels, he had it on a 7000 and has just changed to a 6000… He does really well. Sorry I don’t know the technical details..
  6. Whoo Hoo, Big thanks Norvic, have sent you a PM. And of course a Very Happy New Year to all..
  7. Ok, sent board in for repair/upgrade and asked for proof of work carried out… Feeling confident…..
  8. Love this one still in the hole.. Best thing is my wife got it with her 4500 74g…
  9. Hey Aureous, Like you I have been looking for noise canceling headphones to suit the 6000.. I have a set of Sony which were FANTASTIC on the Zed but not suitable with the 6000 because of the delay.. Not so much in detecting the target in the ground going low and slow, but in recovering from the scoop, throwing out the contents of the scoop before the signal comes through and having to start over again…. Still looking, so watching this post with interest.
  10. Not mine…. Unfortunately. I cynically questioned the authenticity of this but have since had a couple of messages assuring that the find is genuine and the Finder took it to his local Minelab store who took the picture on there display machine… And yes definitely with the11” coil. Oh and in WA….l sorry…
  11. Yep the missus and I have been using Hipsticks for 8 or 9 years and have experienced all the aforementioned problems as well as the balls wearing out (yes still referring to the Hipstick) in the older models..🤨 The latest ones were the solid head type and both D rings failed within a couple of weeks and we have had to use cable ties since… The new balls are a lot better…..😉
