Northeast; thank you for your comments! You are a happy buyer of the QED and that is all that really matters. Learning the fine points of a machine will always enhance one's success with it. So, practice does make things better. Here in the USA, if I am finding lead bird-shot with my 7000 I figure it is working pretty good. While I always listen to anything that Jonathan Porter or Steve have to say, comments from people like you have great importance to me. THANK YOU. You can't get gold if it ain't there...good luck fred

Paul; Life tends to get in the way of the Best of Intentions... Mitchel has stuck to it and found gold... And he has a few more days to go... fred

Mitchel; I do not think you need to worry so much about the history. Literally anywhere you have time to get to has been hit hard. That gold is gone, gone, gone. You don't really have time to prospect for new areas, no matter what some people are saying. You do have time to work the edges and a little beyond...very carefully. Yes, you are in Australia, but, the principals are not changed...do not over think this. I hope you Realize that I am trying to help...no harm intended. fred

Mitchel; go back to bed it is only 4 a.m. there...you need your rest for todays digging!!! FOCUS...more! fred
