First outing with 1.0 yesterday. Nothing great but it was a city park and you can see that the coins have been there for a spell, most 7 to 8 inches with lots of trash. But what got me is the saw medallion! It is the size of a quarter and was a solid signal, pinpointed in bottom of hole and measured at 17 inches!!!! This was with a 9 inch coil. Using the general in full tones.

Ok thanks, I had tested three of my I. H.s a while back and each tested different in air. 58---62 and 65 so was thinking maybe it was for a trime or half dime.

Have to ask: what is the 55-56 open for?

Just got my 13 and wow what a difference on the beach! Great to hear how it did for you in the park.

I removed the protective film and put on the real protective cover, mine without any thing on the screen looks like it is under the screen rather than a scratch on the face.

Same with mine when it arrived. Almost identical scratch, but mine looks to be under rather then on the screen.

Dated June 20, then maybe 11 or 17. Cant find anything like it so far.

Wife has the 11 inch and it is a solid one inch deeper on a dime then my 9 inch.

I have been hitting parks, beaches, schools at least 5 days a week and it didnt take long to figure out the D2 VDI's are very unreliable! I dug 22 nickels last night on beach and they ranged 59-64. Copper pennies from 89-94. Quarters from 91- 96. And so on, which doesnt matter I guess if ya dig it all anyways but I was used to the nox 800 and when it said 13 it was a nick and such on the other coins. But yes gold can come in anywhere so dig it all if ya want it all.

Did everyone see Gary's instruction to go to the big number screen just hold down the two right buttons at the same time in any program and do the same to go back .

You got this one for sure. Just checked ours was dated 8-3 re-updated and the download is now dated 11-3 and this time the headphones stayed connected so that is a thing that changed from 8-3. It is raining now but will have to recheck wifes gold stud earring and my 11 inch dime to see if any improvement. Thank you to all you smart ones for the help!

Had to do a little air test with small diamond stud earring, D2 ,9inch wouldnt hit it at all in any mode including my custom beach sens. Tried wifes 11 inch coil and nothing ,,,except in fast 40 would barley clip on it if rubbing. Both sens set at 98. Got my nox 800 out, sens set at 23 , solid hit and solid tdi at 2.5 to 3 inches in park 2! oh D2s would hit it in gold mode but barley. So this update has got me to thinking also!

Just wondering , both of our units we had to re-pair the headphones after update. Anyone else have to?

These quest headphones come with a jumper so can use as wired with any detector. I never will, got other phones for that but FYI. I believe price was 129 shipped , we paid 110 picking them up at hunt.

Quest headphones back in stock at Treasure Hunting Outfitters . Got two pair Sunday at a hunt and she said she had a large box of them back home.

Didnt weigh them but ,Except the ones noted as mens rings all were my wifes size 5 womens rings which is pretty small gold.

Took the 9 inch to a spot today that we hit with our nox's before it is so trash infested with iron and trash it sounds like a constant machine gun grunting. Deus 2 pulled 3 compacts, 48 coins and a president token out of that crap! I am very impressed so far!

Both coils read the same, wife has 11 and mine is the 9.
