  1. I made a comment on this forum some months ago, that I did not get all that excited about seeing the nuggets. It just goes to show that there are always exceptions WOW!!!
  2. Maybe so, but like you said awhile back the chicks still dig you.
  3. Congratulations, you have made a fantastic discovery.Try not to get jaded from this point forward because surely more will come.
  4. Hello Steve.I may have overlooked it but are there any future plans for a camouflage version becoming available? Thanks in advance.
  5. I too have the mighty Nox with the 10x5 but the thing is I never really clicked with it. I never liked the tones for some reason? Maybe that's because since I was just a young buck only 20 years old I've had a special yen for Edith Bunker and her voice of an Angel.
  6. Don't feel like the Lone Ranger deathray. I have both machines and still use the D1 a lot of the time.Personally i cannot seem to break away from using the two white H F coils in their upper KHz ranges.Single frequencies still have their place in the type of sites that I like to hunt at least.Love that elliptical in the rock piles and star thistles and so forth.
  7. Good information Chase. I bought my D1 after the completed final version, and I still use it on occasion with the two H F coils, and would. never part with it.
  8. Oh my,Mister Toad! So are you suggesting ,that maybe we should all be careful what we wish for?
  9. You, got that right! It seems that XP doesn't give a rats Arse about customer service, and moving forward with the D2 in terms of updates and accessories.
  10. It's kinda like maybe the inmates are running the Asylum?
  11. Time will but it just might be better overall.
  12. And PS don't pay too much attention to the detector wars that has started up as a result of your post.
  13. If you are going to be out traveling around the country that means that you will most likely end up hunting parks and so forth and at some point you will probably end up venturing into or around the water be it fresh or salt. Also if you are going to be wintering in Arizona there is the allure of the yellow stuff.Buy yourself the NOX 900 and if you find yourself becoming passionate about this great hobby and you can afford it get yourself a Deus 2 as a backup machine.Have fun and good hunting!
  14. Thanks you encouraged me to send them an email enquiring about any future plans that they might have to incorporate the Uniprobe into their Rattler mono headphone. They quickly responded and it also is under development and will be available in the spring.I am one peculiar people that has been discussed on this forum that was not born with eyes in the back of my head and do not like to spend all of my time looking over my shoulder when out in the roughs.
  15. Well there ya go that's good news and looks to be a good addition to the kit.Man you come from the workers!
  16. Hey jasong DetectorPro does make a land and sea PI traditional style pin pointer but no self contained probe only the wired into Headphones model. If one does not mind being tethered to their detector it seem to be a pretty sweet setup and they claim that it works with most detector models i hope that answers your question.
  17. I took great care of that no one will ever find it and if a fire comes through I put it in a place where it won't detonate
  18. Thanks JCR judging by the rifling marks it has been fired but did not explode.I think that It may be an anti tank round circa WW2? Thought about going back and removing the primer but decided to leave it the ef alone.
  19. Sorry about doubling up on the photos this is my 1st attempt at this
  20. I found this little beaut a few years ago out in the middle of BFE where it had no earthly business being.I decided that it would be better to leave it where It behind rather than to pack it out a half a mile over rough terrain and kayak the four miles back to my truck with it.Do you have any thoughts or advice about retrieving it and keeping around?
  21. That'll do i carry a Kimber Eclipse Custom 11 10 mm.myself.
  22. I believe that's correct Jeff... they also took the opportunity to show off the new pulse uni probe from Detectorpro which looks intriguing by the way.Anyway thanks for posting the no B.S. video I enjoyed watching it.D.B.
