The Gold bowl is between Bouquet canyon & San Francisquito , The large nugget was found closer to Violin Canyon north of Castaic .

I remember when the creeks in Canyon Country where closed because of the Stickleback fish , It stopped all dredging in the area ! , San Francisquito Canyon was one of my favorite places to sluice below where the dam broke. now you can't even park on the side of the road. After the Tropical storm Hillery my brother & I wanted to be first to check out what the storm did to the area & try our luck Detecting , The roads are a mess Deep ruts & washouts , Went buy Red Chispa , Shootgun the Desert is very wet ( 6-7" ) rain No luck with the Detectors so we went up Goler Gulch to the narrows almost did not make it Large boulders everywhere , The Narrows still had a small flow of water so made a panning hole & started working the cracks had a Great Day after all ! This is where Goler wash crosses the Hwy. Redrock Randsberg road is shut down completely ! The other photos are in the Narrows .

After taking a hike to check a new spot we came back to camp & found out we should cover our panning tub !🐝
