 I see no problem using the "Nugget Buster" headphones with your GMT. Been using a pair of those with my Gold Bug 2 for many years, found many nuggets. They have been very comfortable for me also.. Don't hesitate to give them a try.

Been told by people that you can go to the White's Factory in Sweet Home, OR., and buy a detector there. You will pay retail, no discounts. Told that they did not want to compete with their dealers, that's a good thing! Good luck with your purchase.

Been using the Fisher harness for the GB2 for many, many years at Ganes Creek. Detecting in rain, sleet and beautiful sunshine. When it rains just put your raincoat over it and away you go,,

Was wondering what comes with the GPZ7000. I see that the wireless headphones and module comes with the detector. But does the Pro-Swing 45 also come with it? Can't seem to find any info, maybe I've missed something??

Great pictures, was there for a few weeks a couple of years ago but never found anything like these, keep it up.

 Glad to see you guys did well. Was snowflake the place we hunted up on the hill that Augie pushed? Did you do any hunting around the hundreds of holes in the tundra? Are you thinking of trying it again next year?

 I was able to visit AKAU this past summer with "Big Nuggets Bob". Just call me his "OLD" mining partner. I too had problems thinking about spending money to fly to Nome and paying for over a week at the camp and then spliting half of my gold (with anything that would not fit thru a 1/4 " screen) but decided what the hell, why not.

 I have been to both Ganes Creek and Moore creek many times but never had the opportunity to go to Nome or had any reason to. All I can say is I'm glad I did. I never found anything that I had to split but that was OK, just seeing the scenery was worth it all. It was fun exploring the many areas to detect around camp and to just explore the country side. I even got a chance to meet one of the Pomrenke's, think it was Steve's twin brother and saw where their clean up shack and headquarters are.

 Betty, Augie and Tony were very gracious hosts and went out of their way to make sure that we had all the comforts of home and ate well (thanks Tony for the bbq's). One day Augie and I took a ride to visit a claim a friend of theirs had, it was quite a ways from the main camp. The ride was basically up a river bed with high willows on either side, it was a place I won't soon forget. Just wished I hadn't left my detector in camp.

  A person could spend weeks just detecting around all of the old workings that can be found out on the tundra, Every where that you looked there were holes dug and the dirt piled around in a circle, it almost reminded me a the gold diggings found in the Australian "Golden Triangle". I also think having a 4 wheeler to use is a must especially to come and go as you wish and to go where ever you want.

  I have no regrets what so ever in going, I never went with the expectations of making my money back. I just enjoy the hunt and hopefully will find the big one...Life is what you make it---have fun.

Yea, somewhere where it is warm and I could come visit during these cold wintery days....maybe even find a Montana nugget.    

While in Nome this past summer there were film crews everywhere trying to come up with new angles for new shows..even talked with a few myself. But here I am, didn't make the cut..............and never heard of any new shows!!!

Was just curious if anyone has used the Outlaw with the DD coil for prospecting. The operating frequency isn't optimal for nugget hunting so was wondering what others thought. Might work good where there is a lot of trash and ground is not overly mineralized.
