This aint a pick, but how about that "prybar" in the lower right.
You have good eyes. I don't know how long I would've stared at that photo before noticing that log wasn't just a log.

Is this a hybrid of a shovel and a pick ?
Looks like they welded the front end of a shovel to the pick ..
Yep. The original designer was Joe ??? This design has been around awhile.

Thanks for that video link Flak.

The old timers didn't miss much. You may try the outer fringes of known areas.

Forget resold, I paid a bit over $6k for my 2nd GPZ brand new, just by shopping around a lot. GPZ's have been sold used and out of warranty for more than the person paid for them brand new. I know some people only paid in the upper $4k's for their machines new and I saw the ads reselling them for more than that out of warranty now. The "secret" ML pricing scheme in the US is pretty bogus IMO.
Everyone that I know that is using a 7000 paid under 6K for them. New with warranty from three different dealers.

They often give me more back in change then I was supposed to get originally.
So far in 2019 I got $18.00 dollar coins back in change. The cashiers thought they were quarters I gave up on explaining what they are.

Was that the Rye Patch nugget shootout?
No this was an outing that Bill Southern hosted in AZ. He has two a year.

Don't sell your Equinox 800 short. It does really well on small gold also.

Anything said about whether they will be available by Christmas?
Is that a not so subtle hint for what you want for Christmas?

Well I have never had this happen to me but this is good info to know. Thanks for posting this.

Two letters only to cover this.....BS. If you believe this, then I have a second hand bridge I can sell you in Sydney.
What does a second hand bridge go for these days? 100% scripted but it is entertaining when nothing else is on.

Out of interest, you mention 'Follow the dry washers' is in your top 3. If you would indulge, which other 2 books make the list?
I can't answer for Rob, but my number 1 pick would be Fists full of Gold by Chris Ralph.

Evening all,
I am having trouble finding a copy of Follow the Dry Washers Edition 3 Volume 8 2015 available for sale. Rob Allison's website has them as out of stock.
I can only assume that there is no chance there will ever be another re-print?
Be great if it was made available as an ebook. I guess with Jim's passing the family would have to give consent to this?
Any help to obtain a copy at a price that doesn't involve selling a kidney would be most appreciated.
NE.
For some reason I am under the impression that the publishing company owned the book rights. I might be wrong and I hope that I am.

Sorry to hear this Jason. If this happened a few weeks ago and if they were druggies I am afraid your stuff is probably long gone. They need their fix so they are not going to be holding on to anything. I hope you do recover most if not all of you gear.
