I did try and call them but it goes to an answering machine.  I didn't leave a message.

There website is still up.  http://www.tesoro.com/  I read on facebook that people were still getting their detectors repaired thru Tesoro.

You may want to try and call them.

I think the best part of the show is the week, week and half prior in the hotels and tents along the I-10.

I am pretty sure Chris has a Zed he is one of the largest Minelab dealers in Arizona and also the North American distributor for NF Coils I believe.  It is debatable if his video is an advert or not, I don't care one way or the other, but what I do know for a fact is that Chris knows how to find gold.

Be safe on that bike of yours those trails look pretty skinny.

I thought they lost closer to 10% a month but it's been awhile since I looked into these.

Here is my problem.      I bought this used and I know it's older then 3 years and it was working fine.   I can hear the threshold but I can't hear the target response.  In this case the target is a gram nugget.  I have a metal fire pit in my backyard and I have to put the coil about 6 inches from before I hear a response.  This problem comes and goes for what it's worth.  I have tried different coils with the same results, used those same coils on my 3000 and everything is dandy.   On the front panel I have the switches set as Fixed, Double D, Normal, and General.  ( I was using Double D coils)   I have tried the Factory preset and the problem is still there.    Any ideas before I sent this off to Minelab?

If your looking for a 7000 then I would get a list of Minelab dealers then start calling or emailing them and asking if they have a demo unit for sale.   These should come with the full 3 year warranty and you should be able to pick one up for around $5100.  I know five guys who all did this and the range was $5025 to $5300.   Good Luck
