Congrats Paul. I tip my hat to you, it seems that you are living your dream and not too many people can say that. I hope maybe you guys would be able to shoot a video of your operation.

Congrat's on your claim and on the gold. That area looks so peaceful.

To be honest with you I would be surprised if even Jim himself can remember all of the books and booklets that he wrote.

You could try and ask Mr Straight directly. It's been a few months since the last post.

I agree with Phoenix. I don't notice a difference but it's always been running fine for me in the past. I do know that this is one of the best if not the best detecting forums that I know of.

So, I assume they are not allowed to enter the market due to trade restrictions? To protect American vehicle manufacturers?
They make some Toyota's here in the USA. I don't think there is a big enough market here in the US for diesel.

Just missed it by doing a WSPA meet So. of Tucson.. Stopped by Q, and it appeared they were gearing up for it. Is this type event a good place to sell your gold?
I hope you visited some of the gold vendors at the Tucson Show.

I also carry a Map and Compass. Electronics tend to break down at the worst possible moments.

Looks like a lot of thought went into this product. Nice clean design. Hopefully there will be a US Dealer for these.

Slow your coil speed down big difference between hunting coins vs hunting gold. I would also highly recommend this book. Fist full of Gold by Chris Ralph also any book by Jim Straight.
