  1. I thought they lost closer to 10% a month but it's been awhile since I looked into these.
  2. https://www.srtfactory.com/en/riser-handlebars/riser-srt-22-28-ergal-evo These are the one that were used in the blog. I don't know what the equinox shaft dia. is but these may work. https://www.amazon.com/Wingsmoto-Handlebar-Risers-Motorcycle-Clamps/dp/B0118LVFDA/ref=asc_df_B0118LVFDA/?tag=hyprod-20&linkCode=df0&hvadid=312158603728&hvpos=1o1&hvnetw=g&hvrand=11427021634612355380&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=&hvdev=c&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=9030239&hvtargid=pla-567993701466&psc=1
  3. Congrats on the gold and silver. Were you using the stock coil or the 15"?
  4. Did you make this? I am looking into something like this myself, but not sure how to wire the 5 pin connector to the battery pack. Thanks for the wireless link.
  5. If you go to that then you should check out the Tucson Gem and Mineral show. You would need a few days to see about half of it.
  6. Thanks guys. I got an RMA number from minelab yesterday. I am going to send it in Monday but I am going to mess with tonight after work.
  7. Thanks Fred. I didn't think about the power cord, unfortunately I only have one but will be getting another one this weekend.
  8. Thanks AU. I am going to give Minelab a call to see about shipping it off to them.
  9. Here is my problem. I bought this used and I know it's older then 3 years and it was working fine. I can hear the threshold but I can't hear the target response. In this case the target is a gram nugget. I have a metal fire pit in my backyard and I have to put the coil about 6 inches from before I hear a response. This problem comes and goes for what it's worth. I have tried different coils with the same results, used those same coils on my 3000 and everything is dandy. On the front panel I have the switches set as Fixed, Double D, Normal, and General. ( I was using Double D coils) I have tried the Factory preset and the problem is still there. Any ideas before I sent this off to Minelab?
  10. If your looking for a 7000 then I would get a list of Minelab dealers then start calling or emailing them and asking if they have a demo unit for sale. These should come with the full 3 year warranty and you should be able to pick one up for around $5100. I know five guys who all did this and the range was $5025 to $5300. Good Luck

  12. Curious about your new Super ice chest. Now that the weather is cooling off it's camping and gold hunting time. Nice gold and crystals by the way.
  13. Like others have already said, thanks for the story and the forum.
  14. Congrats Paul. I tip my hat to you, it seems that you are living your dream and not too many people can say that. I hope maybe you guys would be able to shoot a video of your operation.
  15. Congrat's on your claim and on the gold. That area looks so peaceful.
  16. To be honest with you I would be surprised if even Jim himself can remember all of the books and booklets that he wrote.
  17. You could try and ask Mr Straight directly. It's been a few months since the last post. http://nuggetshooter.ipbhost.com/topic/22123-jim-straight-here/
  18. I agree with Phoenix. I don't notice a difference but it's always been running fine for me in the past. I do know that this is one of the best if not the best detecting forums that I know of.
  19. Do that all the time when I am selling cast iron cookware........
