  1. What should I look for? Wood handle? Poly Carb, or Stainless steel. Do I want an 11" or is an 8" wide just as good? What about hole size?
  2. Hello, A couple weeks ago, I posted that I was having extreme difficulty updating my Legend. The folks at Nokta contacted me and we tried to figure it out. But.. it was a system box issue. They sent me out a new one and we sent the other one back so the tech guys could figure it out. They were awesome!! Even with the crazy time difference from Turkey to California.. Even while on the road.. Fantastic support!! wow!! I really appreciate all the folks who made themselves available to me to help discern what the problem was.... Thank you!!! Nokta Makro rocks!!
  3. So I am new to all this fun. I am looking for an all around scoop that is good for a noob. Use would be mostly lake and some ocean and probably wet sand. What is a good entry level brand that can take a beating. The reviews are all over the place. Thanks...
  4. Hello, I already posted in the 1.07 thread, so this is probably redundant. I am as new as new can be. My legend is sitting in the box on the couch. I was so looking forward to using it. I knew there was an update but I am a computer nerd so it should have been no problem. I followed the instructions... EXACTLY.... for the update... EXACTLY.. It will not update. I have 2 computers. I switched to see if it was an issue with #1.. same result in #2. I have uninstalled the updater, I have downloaded drivers from silabs. I have un- and reinstalled my usb drivers, I have tried it all. The update bar will not highlight ( will not connect ) Yes I have the correct .bin file. I have watched videos, joined FB groups, this forum, so I am looking for serious help! I think it is either ... #1 a cord issue or #2 the Legend itself. ( i haven't used it yet! ) So I was hoping someone else had an idea to help me. The company is in Turkey. So I was hoping for a easy solution. I have included the two picts of the updater. From the first picture, it eventually times out to the second. I can consistently replicate this and it is the only scenario I get. Help is welcome! Needed!! Please... Carolyn

  6. I am in need of help. I have tried and tried. I received my Legend last week. I have not used it yet. I am trying to do the update. I have tried this on two separate computers to no avail. I need some advice. I have followed the instructions to the T. I have reinstalled my usb drivers, the silab drivers, the Nokta updater... I have asked for help in a couple FB groups. The consensus is keep doing it? Like beating a dead horse and eventually it will get up and run. I have watched videos. I have turned off everything!!! I am frustrated. It is saying it is a communication problem.. When I plug the usb into my computers 1 and 2 it is the same result see picture. Waiting for connection. It then eventually times out to the second image below. It is my feeling the cord is bad. I have not used the machine yet for anything. I just got it. Please some one advise. I purchased it at KellyCo. I NEED REAL HELP!!!! Carolyn
