You were killing it, now I have to take a second look at my local high school football field. 

I have bought stuff from them and recieved it promptly, they are just a small shop so maybe getting behind. It is still better then buying from China

I tried one of these for a couple months and just recently took it out and back to the stock placement. It seems to me the detector is better balanced without the centering device. Any others try this and feel strongly one way or the other?

It seemed I was more fatigued using the device but not sure if it is all in my head.

Nice work Brad, I have the same shaft and was thinking about drilling for the cable, will do like you did. One question "Steve G’s impressive Equinox cam locks"  where can I find those? I dislike the nylon set screw, would like to swap out like you have there. 

One more thing... How did you get the old ends of the Anderson off? Are they fastened with glue or what?

I have found a little more about this... when paired, by default it is set at a 7 sensitivity, in the menu on the RC you can increase it to 50, I went to 25 and it is about right, dont forget to save it, you have 4-5 programs you can save for the pinpointer. I have a call in to customer support on the low volume but with sensitivty increased it works as I would expect just a little too quiet.

I am not sure i would have even dug some of those 6 pence based on what I thought I knew about the XY. I guess I will now.

I just tested this and it appears to be related to one of the updates, not sure if .70 or .71 version, when not paired it works as expected and sensitivity is great. Volume and sensitivity weak when paired. I am sure this will be addressed in a future update.

Turn on, hold power button for 5 seconds, when you feel the vibration press the button twice and you will get back the performance (you may know this just posting it in case you dont).

Mine has the same issue, paired with dues 2, very weak signal
