  1. Bought new from Steve's Detector Rods (stevesdetectorrods.com) Product details are here: Minelab Equinox 600/800 "Counterweight-Ready" Complete Carbon-Fiber S-Shaft System Counterweight Tube (with lead weighting included) The counterweight tube is 4 1/2" 17 oz. tube. The weight can be adjusted by removing the end cap to remove the small bags of weights as needed. $150 shipped - lower 48 U.S Prefer PayPal FF or Venmo
  2. EQX 15 DD This was my favorite coil on both the Equinox 600 and 900 when detecting on the beach. This coil will work on the Equinox 600/800 and 700/900 series. $220 shipped - lower 48 U.S Prefer PayPal FF or Venmo
  3. I am selling my Equinox 900 that is in excellent condition. Purchased new by first owner in January 2023 and I am the second owner. It has one screen protecter installed but I could not find the extra screen protectors that may have come with it originally. It does include a weather/rain control box cover. $800 shipped - lower 48 U.S Prefer PayPal FF or Venmo
  4. Thanks for sharing this video! I watched last night and found it very informative. Hope to be doing some gold panning for the 1st time later this year and plan to watch a few more times.
  5. Thanks Jeff for the detailed write up about a successful park hunt. As a new user to the 900 I appreciate the details for the detector setup.
  6. Nice mod Sven! I like the new position and secure mounting of the adapter to the detector. I have always found the headphone wire or adapter to be a failure point among multiple headphones or headphones adapter brands.
  7. Thanks for sharing. It is amazing the performance it has and is able to still do well in the saltwater!
  8. Enjoyed the video, thanks for sharing. I like the tailgate talks for their content and real discussions.
  9. I am most interested in expanded range and audio options to help with sizing. Likely leaning towards the Manticore as well. I wish Minelab had an option to just buy the Equinox 900 head unit at a reduced price to allow those already invested in aftermarket rods, coils etc. Likely not an option and makes more sense to just buy the whole detector.
  10. Thanks for the info Fred. You are correct I couldn't get any cables to fit will just leave as is for now.
  11. I have a GPX 4800 that has these plastic tabs on the back (and front) of the case. They make the weather cover a tight fit. Anyone know what their purpose is? Some sort of cable stress relief? I see a mix where some 4500 cases have them and others that do not. I have never seen anyone use them for anything and it looks like the 5000 does not have them from online pics I could surface. Thanks, Josh
  12. Thanks for the detailed info on the Equinox 600. As a 600 user I would like clarification on this as well. If you happen to hear back please share. I think Minelab should have made the settings using the same numbers across both models. Sure the 800 will have more granularity but then the 600 user can easily compare settings without having to do the mental conversations. Example 0,3,6,9 versus 0,1,2,3
  13. Thanks for the detailed report Daniel. Did you attempt running the Equinox 600 in the bullet field?
  14. Thanks for the info on this Steve. I had no clue the WM08 wouldn't work with 1/4" headphones. Thanks so much for the clarification. It is really surprising Minelab didn't include the 1/8" to 1/4" adapter cable with the WM08. I just ordered the Equinox 600 and am 100% glad I saved the extra money. Ready for that big coil now.
