They were also showing how you could notch that signal out so you wouldn't even pick them up on the machine. Phil rejected that, as do I, as I've gotten a few rings on pull tab signals! Don't know for sure, but I do know there is Factory Reset available in the menu system, so that would make it seem that changes to the factory programs would be retained when machine powered off...otherwise Factory Reset option wouldn't even be needed....???
