  1. When viewing the Moon and seeing all of the meteorite strikes, the Earth being much larger and gravity having much more pull, many more meteorites have hit the Earth than have hit the Moon over time.
  2. Looks like you are on your way Doc, I'll take one when you get it finalized.
  3. Early in Earth history it was molten, all heavy elements sank to the center, (could be lots of gold there) as the Earth cooled and a crust formed it continued to be bombarded with meteorites which is where much of the metals and elements that are mined today come from.
  4. Watched Meteorite Men shows back in the day, inspired me to hunt for them, found a few.
  5. Drones sound like a fun way to play but need to do the hard work to actually go to test the spots to know for sure. Love play with drones though.
  6. I have some questions about different coil manufactures, I will have a bit of a winded question concerning some of them coming up. phrunt, your post is part of what inspires my upcoming question/post.
  7. I always liked Dave, he never had a situation where TV did not control and screw with what he could really do.
  8. cool, I like the 11 inch on the 6000.
  9. Steve, I have the very same pick holder, no metal, inexpensive, I too never use it, carry the pick over my shoulder.
  10. I have used a welding helmet with a dark lens which works fine if you have access to one.
  11. I'll be sending one of my 5000's to Mick at Detectronics soon.
  12. Good on you Doc, looks like the Order Picker is just the thing.
