I agree that a fair comparison should include settings. Hard to think this guy operates metal detectors a lot otherwise he would know that and do that. A 19 inch would have been an interesting test.

This isn't a bad video comparing the 6,7 and 2300.

Great finds 1515Art. I have found 3 meteorites at GB, one has about 60% fusion crust.

Nice finds oneguy, I've detected in the cold and snow in NV. Not as much fun as in the warmer months but helps with cabin fever.

I have loved my GB2 until the last few years when better technology has evolved, they blew it in my opinion, could have brought it up to modern standards with a touch screen without messing it up, making it perhaps, enticing to purchasing one for folks that currently own one of the older models. It could have contended with many of the current favorite small gold detectors. Too close to what I have to purchase the new model.

Thanks for your incredible depth of boot/footwear technology klunker, hanging on to every word you profess to know on the subject. I even enjoy the professional verbiage you use like, %$#@&, it does not get better than that. Take care.

I use a poncho type cover for rain conditions, has a hood and covered from head to toe, can still use the 5000 if you wanted to during the rain. When dry, it stuffs into tiny bag to carry until the next time it is needed.

I fully encourage you to pick up a coil of this size Gerry. I really wonder if what you find will fit in your teeth though.

You did mention the Rodeo, great fun and amazing folks that put on the show. Lots of great Rodeo's in Utah also.

PhaseTech,
I very much appreciate your videos, showing digging junk sometimes, just like the rest of us, true to real life. Also, appreciate your incite to different metal detectors and coils.
