Gpx 6000 Manual Or Auto Sensitivity For Northern Nevada
MSC replied to Felix arami's topic in Detector Prospector Forum
Good to meet you and your brother at Gerry's training. I tried several different settings on purpose just to get comfortable with the 6, I do feel more comfortable with the 6 than with the 5 or 7 at this same stage of ownership. -
I have 3 batteries now, always carry one extra in my backpack so not to concerned about how long each last.
-
Nice Swegin, I took the training the week before, Helped understand the 6 greatly, wished I had trained with the 5 and 7, took a long time to understand both machines compared to the 6.

Having Fun, Meeting Dp Members & Au
MSC replied to Gerry in Idaho's topic in Detector Prospector Forum
Gerry, saw a black tarantula the last day of training, a little bit larger than the one you took a picture of. My first in 7 years. -
I have 2 sets of keys, I leave the spare set at camp in one of my clothes bags, I put the ones I am using in my back pack when I am detecting. Hopefully I never have to walk all the way back to camp to retrieve my spare set.

Good to meet you and Ed, you fit right in with the folks on this forum, don't be strangers.

I find that a NY Yankees ball cap keeps me cooler that a B-red sox's hat does, can't really explain why, just one of those mysteries.

Charging The Gpx-6000 In A 1/2 Ton Truck Or A Car/van?
MSC replied to Gerry in Idaho's topic in Detector Prospector Forum
Gerry, On Amazon, there is a small power inverter, a Bestek 75W DC to 110 volt car inverter. It plugs into the power port and you can plug in the 6000 battery charger into the end. It is a small "fit into you hand inverter". -
I have purchased several of the white long sleeve shirts, they are nice even in hot weather. When using head phones, I wear a ball cap and have a scarf under the cap protecting my neck.

GPX 6000 Rod Twisting - Owners Weigh In
MSC replied to afreakofnature's topic in Detector Prospector Forum
Yea, twisting not that big of a deal, I can handle that but a Minelab or aftermarket fix will come along, sooner or later. -
I believe you both could teach Minelab a thing or two.

Coiltek Coils For The GPX 6000 - Confirmed!
MSC replied to Coiltek's topic in Detector Prospector Forum
Thanks CoilteK, Trevor, for responding and giving us a look into future coils for the 6000. I own several Coiltek coils for the 5000K and looking forward to coils for the 6000. Most of us look at this at this as a very positive development for our future with your company.
