  1. Cool as can be, wish I had been introduced to detecting at an early age.
  2. The 24K looks like a good choice for those of us that are disappointed in the "revamped " GB2's future.
  3. Nice finds IDAHOPEG, thanks for the 6000 report. Looking forward to testing mine.
  4. Good report Gerry, I will be going to some of the Northern, Western states in the warmer months to detect for gold as soon as this darn covid has subsided somewhat. I have a medical issue that requires me to be extra careful. Fuel prices have put a bit of a damper on long distance travel for now, sure hope prices really do come down soon, but will not hold my breath. Will tent camp instead of hauling my 38 ft. toy hauler around for now. Me and my buddy, Perry still enjoy tent camping. I have a 6000 now and will get out in September to give it a go. What a great site for commutating to the really good folks that chose to share life experiences here, all I can say is thanks.
  5. Nice finds Steve, hope you had a great time, much deserved.
  6. Yea, had not thought about getting dirt into the toggles as a potential big problem on the GB2 or the 5000, have to look into that. Thanks for pointing that out. I do clean my 5000 each off season, will pay more attention to the toggles with caned air.
  7. Bought a early model of the GB2, would have purchased a " good" updated GB2 but this is not updated enough to be worth it, too bad, would like to see a US detector company do well. Hope they are tuning into this web site, hope they care about their future.
  8. F350Platinum Thanks F350, trying to avoid headphones, too hot for me to wear. but I have to say, the phones that come with the 6, are the most comfortable ML phones I have tried on.
  9. Little confused, just got the 6000, do I need both a LL Bluetooth transmit and receive unit to use say Bluetooth ear buds? Thanks all. msc
  10. Good finds you guy's, just got the 6 myself, haven't had a chance to get out yet, can't wait.
  11. I was excited at first, but disappointment soon followed, yea, they should have came out with a GB3.
  12. JP, Steve, me and very many other folks pay close attention to your post and appreciate what you have to say. I have been helped a great deal by what you both have to say. Please keep posting as there are many more who do respect your observations than do not.
  13. I collect/keep all non Gold finds also, put them in a Maxwell House coffee can I keep in my side by side. My take looks a lot like yours.
  14. Good luck Goldseeker, hope things work out in your favor.
  15. Check out Doc's site for a shade hat that you can use headphones with, I have one and it is comfortable. MSC
  16. Nice find Lunk. The two pieces fit together so well it seams they could not have spent too long apart, otherwise the sharp ends would be weathered a bit more. Always nice to find a meteorite.
  17. Good post tboykin, I sure appreciate Minelabe but I wish the USA folks would pick it up.
  18. Ridge Runner, I agree, should be free if no price is displayed.
