Sweet! My wife or daughter would grab that from me right when I get in the door. Nice find!

Please do! There are some farms in my family that date back to early spanish settlements in California. I really want to go hunt them, but have no idea where to start to hunt a farm field. Your earlier post about hunting the turn around locations is great. Now I just need to contact the farmer that leases our land and figure out when they cut the crops so I can get out there!

Those are some great finds! I really like the little gold sailboat pendant. That would be great to find the owner of the class ring too!

Yes, It Will Find A Tiny Gold Chain With No Clasp!

That's awesome! It sounds like the low conductor beach mode might be a great setting for beaches with a lot of trash? -
Great finds. Congrats on the gold. Nice shell too. I never find shells like that in Hawaii. Did you find the coins using the low conductor setting? Just curious because it would seem like they would be higher conductors?

Man I like that Barber!

I just checked and the antenna wire that came with the XP dive shaft is black.

Reminds me of a permission I used to have in Folsom area. Man I found a lot of gold out there! -

Would A Used Gpx-4500 Package Be Worth Considering?
matt replied to Az_Ed's topic in Minelab Metal Detectors
I'm not in tune with the used market, but that seems pretty high. If you watch this forum classifieds, you can probably get a much better deal. I found a lot of gold with a gpx 4500, several pounds. -
That's a heck of a start! Can't wait to see your end of month totals and hopefully you don't hunt anywhere close to me!
-
What a great find! Better than a cent in my opinion. If they made that token today, the person making it would probably get thrown in jail (or get cancelled) since it seams a lot of people don't respect our flag anymore. What a shame!

Hunt Cut Short By Rain, But It Was Worth It
matt replied to F350Platinum's topic in Metal Detecting For Coins & Relics
Wow! Great finds. Like already said by somebody else, how nice having such fantastic places to hunt so close to home. I would be out every day. Actually, I think you hunt almost every day as long as the weather is nice! Thanks for posting all your finds.- 27 replies

My Relic Hunting Buddy Passed Away
matt replied to George Kinsey's topic in Metal Detecting For Coins & Relics
Sorry to hear about your loss. You'll have memories for the rest of your life. I still think every day about the only dogs that were my friends. It's never easy. The best remedy is to get out and detect to get your mind off things. -
I agree! A lot of people asked for a dive shaft and now they sell one. I purchased a dive shaft mainly because I plan to use the Deus ii for underwater diving in Hawaii. The antenna that came with the dive shaft is routed inside the shaft and is really short. I can't remember what color it is, but I'll check when I go over in a couple weeks. XP seams to have really good customer service.

Be careful sending USPS. I sent El Dorado an ounce of small nuggets to make an exact replica of my platinum band. He sent back the remaining gold and both bands. When they arrived late with the box cut open missing all contents, my claim and 2 appeals were denied. I lost over $4k. This is less than 12 months ago. And the package was insured with USPS.

Exactly what I thought. Hopefully they fixed the water intrusion too.

That's a really nice looking ring! I don't wear jewelry, but if I did that would be something I would consider.

Especially under water in surf action!

I asked the same question a couple days ago in a different thread (custom antenna thread) without any responses. Gigmaster has one attached in his video. In my searching for it, I found one that looks to work well since it can be detached. $4.95 each and shipping is $8.30. https://tethertools.com/product/quick-release-lanyard/

Excellent finds! Is the other gold ring resemble a gold nugget ring? It's hard to tell from the pictures.
-
That's awesome! I wonder if the gold coin was a drop from a long time ago or if it fell off jewelry? No way to probably even know.

Anybody know where to get the little tether that he uses for his remote module to the shaft that you can see in the video?
