  1. I may still sell it going to be 73 soon have too many detectors my main machines are a Minelab 800 Equinox and a Fisher 75, have some other Whites like Goldmasters, White Blue and Gray, D-tex and one old bird tube type Detecto , Garrett hustler etc. Kids don't like em SOOOOOOO! Anyway thanks for your info and for thoughts on the XLT.
  2. Amazing this came up I was just getting my white Spectrum XLT ready to sell. never put much time on it and since I have a Equinox Minelab 800 I figure I no longer need it. But I bought mine new from Kelly co. years ago and had it equipped with a Hot Head Coil. After reading some of the comments here, starting to think maybe I should keep the old girl.
  3. If anybody collects this kind of thing. On a first come first serve deal I will send it to you for shipping cost. Somebody out there might want it and its not doing me any good laying around here.
  4. Thanks everybody. I guess I will make a spaceship model out of it. LOL Not much interest on Ebay.
  5. Hi I have some compass Metal detectors that I plan to sell off. Was thinking about keeping one. I have what seems to be a 77B, not the professional, just the standard 77b, I also have a Judge2 Automatic. Was wondering which is the better of the 2. They both are roughly 1982 vintage. And the advertisement from that period shows the Judge2 as being slightly more expensive. But I have reason to think that they were both 100hz. So what should I keep.
  6. Hello I need a battery cover for a Garett Hunter 7. Any ideas?
  7. Thanks for all the thoughts I realize I am blowing money on detectors I really do not need.
  8. Well rick I used to do a lot of detecting years ago with my old Whites Coinmaster IV and loved it then bought my Whites Spectrum XLT, did some with that but then for some reason just quit, mostly because its getting hard to find places to hunt, some of our county parks absolutely forbid detecting. I just recently tried to get them to hear me out on why in certain parks it should be allowed for historical reasons, but they gave me the soft brush off Its going to take a serious group of detectorists to meet and explain the difference between true hunters VS people that just want to tear up ground for some loose change.
  9. Well I have been detecting a few years but I have to admit I'm no expert I own a Equinox 800, a whites Spectrum XLT and a Fisher 75 special edition. I just saw a video and the guy was ranting about how good the 77b was for trashy areas. I am all ears here, and would like you guys update me on whether or not my machines surpass the 77b which from the sounds of it they do.
  10. Hello I am in need of a owners manual or a copy of one for a 77b compass detector. Not asking for a freebie, will purchase thanks. Paul
  11. Hi I heard that a good detector for trash areas was the compass 77b professional. Any thoughts. Would like to acquire one. Anybody out there have one to part with,
