  1. there have been a few instances where i have been digging in a lot of clad quarters and have popped out halves thinking they were quarters. when you are digging tons of clad, you tend to be a little less careful with the shovel.
  2. long time nox user here. my go to on the d2 has been modified park. would love to check your program out if you're willing to share!
  3. would love to see them fix the US silver TID's quarters and halfs ring up the same numbers, and dollars are even lower! would be nice to had a clue if you were digging a half or quarter. i know other machines have a significant gap in these coins.
  4. i ordered the 9" with my deus2 with the plans of getting the 13" coil. well ive been waiting for it to come available! but im sure it'll be the right play.
  5. love it! makes perfect sense and TBH surprised i havent thought of or came across this before.
  6. hopefully they can fix the pinpoint audio levels as well. either tone them down or add a volume adjustment. if you try to pinpoint a shallow target it will knock your ears off
  7. i personally cant wrap my head around PWM. and full tones square seem to be broken, im not thrilled with the default hz for full tones. the max (998hz or whatever number it is) is really appealing which IMO should be used for the highest 99 tone. for now i am using a 5 tone program but would love to see a 6 or 7 tone customization option
  8. i have dabbled in it briefly but i hunt with my ears almost exclusively. so ive found that pitch just doesnt give me as much info as i'd like. im sure it has its time and place in a heavy iron site you're trying to pluck everything out of. ive been meaning to give it some more attempts and love. it would be nice if they had options to add more breaks up to say 10 breaks. not sure if that would essentially create more processing time and decrease performance.
  9. nox user of 2000+ hours here. and this is completely spot on to my opinion on the deus2. the only downfall to this machine is its not as good "wading" because of the antenna and the flex in the coil. I still use my nox for that. but the wireless feature for "dry land" detecting has way more PROS than that one CON. I am not sure ill be able to go back to a wired detector. after swinging the d2 almost exclusively for 6+ months, the nox feels like a turd. i will say however, i do enjoy the full tones of the nox. the d2 full tones arent functioning properly and 5 tones just isnt enough to customize to my liking. that will hopefully be resolved with an update shortly.
