  1. Let's all just be happy none of you were selected to lead us from behind your keyboards in your moms' basements 😆
  2. Dont forget about war nickels. I can text a few in fast if youd like
  3. It looks normal to the eye, zooming way in w my phone made it look funky.
  4. One more from the same area! Over 4 grams and dang it read in with the highest TID yet! This was a 75 on the deus 2, my first gold that is in the 70s! My silver coin count since christmas is also up to 44 now with a few silver dimes dug at over 1 ft of depth at the beach. The D2 is truly a top tier beach machine..
  5. Nothing on the inside at all, which make me think pre-US stamp regulations
  6. Another day, anoth gold. Only took me 8 hours! The internet seems to think 18k from 1902!!! Going to take it to a jeweler to see if he can confirm mine cut diamond. This is #12 in the last two weeks and dang i really like this one! All have been with the D2.
  7. Hi all - i need new boots. My bogs tillamook boots sprung a leak and are unfortunately low top and closer to shoes than boots. Im looking for recommendaptions on waterproof boots. Preferably tight fitting neoprene that kind of suction tight arpound your foot. I walked miles with no blisters wirh my low top bogs but want to hear what else is out there. Im at the beach a few times a week and put on some miles!
  8. One more gold ring yesterday and two silver rings. Also got a nice 1940 merc that is the best looking silver I've pulled from the ocean.
  9. Unfortunately i was away for christmas and missed the crazy surf. Came back the 30th and stopped by the beach on my drive up. Got a gold ring right off the get go, then nada. Came out on NYE and got 5 gold rings! New years day i got 2 more gold rings. Then got out today and got a gold pendant. I doubt I'll ever have a streak like that again but it was fun. In all i had 5 additional rings, 2 silver and 3 junkers. Also got around 15 silver dimes, one silver quarter, a clad half dollar, and around 200 clad coins, mostly dimes and nickels. Gave a few of my silvers to a kid who was detecting with his trusty bounty hunter.
  10. I like that floats. I toss it right in the water and just let it float around while i get my hookah setup correctly. I give me some peace knowing i wont drop it in really deep water and lose it. I dont feel any noticeable buoyancy while detecting with it. As mentioned by others, it is certainlythe coil that is causing it to float.
  11. You hit the same negatives i have. Which are all minor. I use his shaft at the beach and it is killer. The counterweight is great if your arm is prone to getting tired with the 13 inch coil. I 100% will buy all future accessories and shafts from steve. Actually just bought a cf handle for my stavr scoop today and it was all based on Steve's superior customer service. He does great work and puts in a lot of effort to care for his customers.
