  1. Promotion is over and the prices are raised with $100 but still lower than introduction. According to the Nokta website the Legend prices are: MSRP: $ 599 MSRP: $ 699 (WHP) MSRP: $ 799 (PRO) Will this be the price for the carbon fibre version with LG30 coil?
  2. iPad test, works. Windows PC also works. Both in the browser. Is there a forum app?
  3. It's been two months since I've started this thread. In the past months I've read a lot of good info on this great forum! I'm very close to buy one of these detectors. Since then some things have changed. Nokta has released firmware 1.11 for the Legend. Manticore and Equinox 700/900 users have a lot more hours / experience with these machines. "Unfortunately" XP have not released their new software for the Deus 2 yet. If someone was only hunting for (small) jewelry/gold on the salt water beach are the above machines still very close?
  4. What are the chances they will introduce a elliptical coil(s) with the new software? Could this be a reason that it takes this long?
  5. Weight differences between "New" Legend, Equinox 900 and Manticore. (1:44 - 2:35)
  6. According to this video the weights of the new Legend parts are: Old armrest: 101 gram New armrest: 56 gram Old middle Shaft: 104 gram New middle Shaft: 69 gram LG28: 565 gram LG30: 499 gram
  7. Minelab has released quite a few new detectors lately. Manticore, Equinox 700, 900 and recently the X-Terra Pro. What would you like to see in the new Vanquish model (if ever released)? New design? Waterproof? Less weight? Made a concept bellow (not real product).
  8. The results so far.. This forum results: 9": 2 members 11": 4 members 13x11": 8 members Other places where I got/found information: 9": easier to localize object 9": great balance and weight 9": no reason 9": lighter, in water less resistance 9": if weight is most important 9": for long hours and in the water 11": no reason 11": no reason 11": best in between (weight and depth) in comparison with the 9"and 13x11" 13x11": great for large areas If there are more members who want to share their experiences or choice, please do!
  9. If you could only choose one coil, which one would you choose for long hours on the beach and why? The 9", 11" or 13 x 11"? What are your experiences with the weight and balance of these coils in combination with the standard or lite stem?
  10. Correct me if I'm wrong but I don't think the X-Terra Pro comes with wireless headphones. Can you use third party bluetooth headphones or only Minelab headphones? What we know so far about the prices here (I think it's the same for Europe): Minelab X-Terra Pro (1.30 kg / 2.9 lbs): 329 euro, no headphones, (5, 8 Beach, 10, 15 kHz) Nokta Simplex Ultra (1.18 kg / 2.6 lbs): 399 euro, full carbon with headphones (15 kHz) I couldn't find any prices for the ML85 but the ML80 are 179 euro here. If you only can use Minelab headphones with the X-Terra Pro the price will be 329 + 179 = 508 euro vs 399 euro for the Simplex Ultra. And Nokta could even lower the prices. I'm curious about the official prices.
