  1. Well every thing is suposidly brand new never used and I can get it for 3900. What really attracts me is a enclosed trailer he will sell together. I think I could get both for 6-7k. No can't dredge in ca yet, but the ban never stopped me. I'm just sick of sneaking around and I would like to go somewhere I can bring my family. My boy is turning three yrs old and I want to find some good ground with good camping out of state so we can start taking family vacations. Me and my wife started our relationship arround dredging and we both love it between the ban and having a kid she hasn't got to participate in my mining excursions much. But in a couple years I foresee not being able to go mining without my kid?
  2. He built it right before the dredging ban in ca. So he says he never used it. But claims he's built many dredge. I like the portability of it especially since I'm a one man show. I do have some Honda 13hp laying around, I could fasten it to the pump, would that boost the performance?
  3. Yes, a very experienced gentle man just told me it would not work? but the person that built it is 70yrs old and claims he knows it will work wonderfully, claims it would be almost equal to 16hp! I wish I could test it
  4. Thank you for ur input. Did u get the triple sluice on it new keene?
  5. I'm looking at buying a custom dredge, it has a honda 9hp with a Keene 3x4 450gpm pump coupled to a tri haul jet. My question is that it seems under powered? but I have never seen or heard of a tri haul jet. The claims are that it is equivalent to a typical 6 dredge with 16hp and a normal jet set up. Please help .
  6. According to garret the z link was designed strictly for headphone use so some type of booster would probably be required. Thanks tho
  7. Yes I agree with u there. I had a blue tooth wireless set up the aptx low latency I had the option of using the wireless head phones or use the transmitter and receiver. I loved being completely wireless but if it was real noisey I got out my better quality headphones and used the transmitter. But most of the time i went wireless, just so nice and they were light weight!
  8. Great thank you. I want the pro sonic for the speaker but I like the z link for the battery life. And the z link has a direct plug for my atx so that would be nice. I been trying to decide between the two. The I seen the deteknix pro that has wireless head phones!
  9. Awsome hope to see more videos I am very interested in this detector but also very sceptical. Would love to see some videos with real prospector targets raw nuggets big and small, square nails, lead, pull tabs..... and buried. Anyway thanks
  10. I sure love how ballanced the atx is with the 8" coil on it. It sure seems to loose alot of depth tho. Of course i usually run mine no higher then 9 on the sensitivity. Mine gets crazy when full throttle! I would love to get the new mono but I can't justify it after buying the 8".
  11. Retirement! Gold, coin, treasure.... Might sound unreal to most but that is honestly my goal everytime I head out and I honestly believe it will happen.
  12. I have found tons of good info on the 14" round but have found none on the 14x9 elliptical. Anyone swinging this? The 14 round sounds amazing, its just the elliptical fits my detecting better. Steep narrow gullies.
  13. That's kinda what I'm thinking it is. Just the lion stamp is odd
  14. Ya i found that and they look alike but I don't think this is silver.
  15. So I had a good day detecting yesterday and on top of the gold I found I found this little square. Stared at it for a sec then thru it in my pouch to look at it later. Knowing it was not magnetic it kept bugging me. I got home and looked closely in the light noticed it was stamped with a lion and 2 circles. I scratched a little on the back and it started to look yellow. Any idea what it is? How to clean it? Any info would be appreciated.
  16. Well I can honestly say it works great on my GPX 4500. Key thing is low latecy, and I've proven this to work. I have not noticed any delay. I had no problem pin pointing targets, and hit some small deep targets. It was just the faintest signal.
  17. This setup works great and there's no headphone wires at all! Sound quality is good, head phones are light and comfy, i had to bend them to fit my small head, I usually got to find a happy medium with the volume on the headset and volume on the gold screamer. Be sure if you get make sure it's the low latency headphones cause there is two different on the link I posted. The right wire took me awhile to find, before I had to two peace it and I don't like having to many connections. I also got a secondary transmitter so I can use regular headphones or just as a back up. Avantree Wireless Bluetooth Over Ear Headphones with Mic, LOW LATENCY Fast Audio aptX Headset Avantree Pre-paired aptX LOW LATENCY Bluetooth Transmitter and Receiver Ugreen Gold Plated 3.5mm 1/8" Male to 6.35mm 1/4" Male TRS Stereo Audio Cable
  18. Aptx low latecy look up wire free at last there's a thread on it. I also got the aptx wireless rechargable headphones that work great!
  19. Yes I agree. I would love a gpx 5000 crammed into a sDC 2300 with wireless technology
  20. I use it and love it! I havnt had any issues yet. I also went wireless headphones.
