Dredging Question Motor?
Goldgetter replied to Goldgetter's topic in Gold Panning, Sluicing, Dredging, Drywashing, Etc
Thank you for ur input. Did u get the triple sluice on it new keene? -
I'm looking at buying a custom dredge, it has a honda 9hp with a Keene 3x4 450gpm pump coupled to a tri haul jet. My question is that it seems under powered? but I have never seen or heard of a tri haul jet. The claims are that it is equivalent to a typical 6 dredge with 16hp and a normal jet set up. Please help .

That's when I go back and get one if my Milwaukee battery powered rota hammers! I guess I got it even easier, now only if I had the time to swing. -
Anyone Using External Speaker On Garrett Z-Lynk ?
Goldgetter replied to Goldgetter's topic in Garrett Metal Detectors
According to garret the z link was designed strictly for headphone use so some type of booster would probably be required. Thanks tho -
Anyone Using External Speaker On Garrett Z-Lynk ?
Goldgetter replied to Goldgetter's topic in Garrett Metal Detectors
Yes I agree with u there. I had a blue tooth wireless set up the aptx low latency I had the option of using the wireless head phones or use the transmitter and receiver. I loved being completely wireless but if it was real noisey I got out my better quality headphones and used the transmitter. But most of the time i went wireless, just so nice and they were light weight! -

Great thank you. I want the pro sonic for the speaker but I like the z link for the battery life. And the z link has a direct plug for my atx so that would be nice. I been trying to decide between the two. The I seen the deteknix pro that has wireless head phones! -

Goldgetter replied to GoldEn's topic in Detector Prospector Forum
Retirement! Gold, coin, treasure.... Might sound unreal to most but that is honestly my goal everytime I head out and I honestly believe it will happen. -

I have found tons of good info on the 14" round but have found none on the 14x9 elliptical. Anyone swinging this? The 14 round sounds amazing, its just the elliptical fits my detecting better. Steep narrow gullies.

That's kinda what I'm thinking it is. Just the lion stamp is odd
-
Ya i found that and they look alike but I don't think this is silver.

So I had a good day detecting yesterday and on top of the gold I found I found this little square. Stared at it for a sec then thru it in my pouch to look at it later. Knowing it was not magnetic it kept bugging me. I got home and looked closely in the light noticed it was stamped with a lion and 2 circles. I scratched a little on the back and it started to look yellow. Any idea what it is? How to clean it? Any info would be appreciated.

This setup works great and there's no headphone wires at all! Sound quality is good, head phones are light and comfy, i had to bend them to fit my small head, I usually got to find a happy medium with the volume on the headset and volume on the gold screamer. Be sure if you get make sure it's the low latency headphones cause there is two different on the link I posted. The right wire took me awhile to find, before I had to two peace it and I don't like having to many connections. I also got a secondary transmitter so I can use regular headphones or just as a back up. Avantree Wireless Bluetooth Over Ear Headphones with Mic, LOW LATENCY Fast Audio aptX Headset Avantree Pre-paired aptX LOW LATENCY Bluetooth Transmitter and Receiver Ugreen Gold Plated 3.5mm 1/8" Male to 6.35mm 1/4" Male TRS Stereo Audio Cable

Aptx low latecy look up wire free at last there's a thread on it. I also got the aptx wireless rechargable headphones that work great!
-
Yes I agree. I would love a gpx 5000 crammed into a sDC 2300 with wireless technology
-
I use it and love it! I havnt had any issues yet. I also went wireless headphones.
-
So I finally got time to got out and really use my wireless system! I've got rid of the tdk the head phones were uncomfortable and sound quality just wasn't there for me. But I've had great luck with the aptx devices! I even picked up aptx wireless rechargable low latency head phones. I got to say I love it! Now I see minelab is coming out with the tek and I'm sure all others will follow. Lol. Should a waited but o well.

Garrett Pro-Pointer AT - Waterproof To Ten Feet
Goldgetter replied to Steve Herschbach's topic in Garrett Metal Detectors
O i was hopping back and forth between threads on pin pointers. Meant to post that on a different thread. I got a gpx4500 and was looking for good pin pointer to go with it. I'm even looking into the coiltek mountable probe but can't find any info on it. -
Does Anyone Use A Garrett ATX For Gold Prospecting?
Goldgetter replied to Steve Herschbach's topic in Garrett Metal Detectors
Sold. I tried and tried to use it. It just doesn't compare to my GPX 4500. It does go deep in the tests I've ran it's just to bugy, hard to find the faint deep tones. GPX is so smooth and goes deeper without having to crank the gain up. I love the design I wish I could stuff my GPX in it. -
18 Ouncer... No Detectorprospector ;)
Goldgetter replied to Paulito's topic in Detector Prospector Forum
Incredible find! Right in my home town to! I've probally detected right over it time and time again, I've been up and down this Creek many times. There's been many lumps found in this area. I've hunted hard and didn't do bad but eventually thru in the towel after punching to many very deep holes for trash! I've went straight off cliffs climbed down where I thought nobody's ever been to find hand fulls of trash! Lol. I think seeing this nugget was just what I needed tho.
