  1. I was looking into other Bluetooth options primarly headphones and spoke with Avantree pro company and both blue tooth, what ever is transmitting and receiving has to be both low latency. So make sure speaker is low enough. Also if you have two Avantree pro i think you can use one of docs external speakers with it. I will also be testing this once I get a new adapter.

  2. Xp deus shaft docs gold screamer and a few different wireless options! Finally got all the peices. Of course I got a bum connector peices for the aptx blue tooth so that will have to wait. I did test it but I had to keep my fingers on the connection while I used it. I must say sounded perfect, there was no lag as far as I could tell. Ready to stuff it in the pack and go find some gold!

  3. Well I've used it once before I got rid of my dd coil and it seemed great! Cords drive me crazy! I know docs said he improved or found a better charger. He said they were having alot of issues with the old ones. You can charge two batteries at once. Only thing I could say negative so far is it comes with a rubber band thingy to hold the battery in place, seems like it would only be needed if charging in the car on a bumpy road. When hooked to the amplifyer it stuffs into the side pouch nice and tight.

  4. Anybody try this is it new? Any info?

    From https://www.reedsprospecting.com.au/shop/detail/eq-spirit-li-ion-battery/ :

This battery is designed to function with all of the Minelab "gold" detectors. Voltage can be adjusted to suit each type of detector. It is possible to use the battery as standard, but it is recommended that you attach the battery to the detector and run it using the Wireless LINK. The headphone or speaker jack is inserted into the LINK and the detector is free of cables.

The LINK and the battery are re-charged separately. The sound quality of the battery is very high. The battery is re-charged with standard Minelab GPX chargers. If you need to buy the chargers when you buy a battery we are selling the chargers at $60.00 for both the 12V and 240V.

There are Noise Cancelling Headphones that work with this battery as well.

  5. Hmm I was thinking of going the airheadz route just because they have done all the testing already, and the headphones are supurb. But they use low lag blue tooth also. The avantree Saturn's and some good head phones would be about half price, maybe cheaper, and should do the same thing. Airheadz set up would cost me about $400. !?!?!!?? I'm gonna think on it. I got a couple other things I need to get first anyway. Any other info is much appreciated. Thank you

  6. Yes I usually just take mine apart but I'm hoping to find something to save time. I don't like messing with the cable after I fasten it. I didn't see how the carbon fiber one would help, maybe I mist sething but it seemed the same as stock just lighter and no aluminum.
