What Items Do You Find Near Jewelry At The Beach?

I live in a costal town on the shores of the Mediterranean Sea. I do Wet sand, wade, surf and snorkel. How often?...Depends, detecting in winter is not the same as in summer. The last ring, last night. I have three gold pieces since 3/27 with X-Terra Pro...😁 -

Hi, two things: - Why low recovery speed? Because in the water your swing is going to be lower than in dry sand and you need more deep. - Iron sounds like iron, but in the end of your SMF (more 12' inches deep) your detector can't know what is... You can see negative ID's and that sound that you know in 90 degree...just dig It. Positive attitude!!! One more tip: - Threshold, this was taught to me by an old man... I use in 9-12 in Minelab detectors (Legend it,s bullshit). When the sound stops, dig a couple of scoops. Probably you got it a good target under your coil... Another day, we talk about gold chains... -

Every?...bad luck. I found a lot of junk jewelry too. This Big one sound a little bit more...ID in Nox 800 20-21, because got It a lot of Cooper. Usually 9-10k, rose Gold. If sounds higher (near to 30-32): Junk! No dig It... If you find brass you are near of gold. Be patient... -

Exactly. Learn to use your detector. Listen to their language. Low tones, all metal, threshold... Low recovery speed, no iron filters, no bottle cup reject, go down your break tone...a world of things! Take your time. Deep old gold sounds like iron, you can see negative ID's ... don't worry. Trust your ear!!! Your Items: old/green coins, fisher weight, iron, perhaps silver... Easy. 😉 -

...Gold is everywhere! Just, go out and dig. There's no pattern to follow. Specific weight is high, that the only guide. Study your beach, winds, tides, bathing areas. And a little luck!...- 28 replies

Congratulations, it's a GREAT Detector... ...but I don't agree. I have both machines and I know the manufactures well. In the past I have had Nokta Makro Anfibio Multi and now Legend (I tested Simplex too). From Minelab, Nox 800 and since one week X-Terra Pro. I tested 600 and Ctx 3030. I speak about my own experience and based on the perfomance obtained. I only work beaches. I live in a small fishing village with a lot of tourists in summer. Usually get about 40 gold pieces a year, 200 silver (aprox.). 70% of Gold is from Minelab. It's also true that in Silver Nokta wins landslide... I love v 1.11, I love Ferrocheck, GREAT bottle cup r., IF, Stability ...Unthinkable a few years ago and the price is a gift now! And really IP68 (I can test It). But, two years ago...v 1.05 remember?...Multi Dry it's "very Nokta" and Multi Wet very stable, too much maybe? We better not talk about Threshold... When I return from hunting with Legend and use Nox again, I feel at home, peace, tranquility and Yellow. And again... It's my opinion based on the results obtained, just that. Two perfectly compatible detectors, different and now with prices never seen before! Thanks Nokta. Pd. Don't worry, they pay for themselves 😉

...if we are going to continue copyng, things could be done well: - The saft is still "too short" for tall people (I'm european, 1,89 cm.). I had to modify my swing or the dislocation was inevitable. The closure with the lower shaft vibrates in the location process, and that gets on my nerves... I have sold more than one detector to an unestable shaft, it's unbearable. In the end, Legend only underwatter...

Many thanks. Over 2000 hours with Nox, but I discovered "the game" with Nokta Makro Anfibio Multi. That crazy screamer taught me a lot... Location, patience, perseverance and good headphones. When in the solitude of a dark beach you look Gold in the eye, you are lost! One of my most valuable pieces. I had to sit for a while and breathe... Yellow is in the water waiting...😁

Yes, cheap and easy! But the question is...is It REALLY a single frecuency ?!? How Minelab get that stability on beaches?... I used one Quest X5 (SF 8kHz too) for a summer, amazing with coins and silver...but no gold. After 10 hours with X-Terra Pro and on "my beach" (beaten a thousand times with Equinox and Legend, Spring has just started after a long Winter). Two Golds !!!!! Last one, dry sand, used Park 2, 15 kHz, and a less recovery speed (1)...0,29 Gr. Awesome !!!! I keep saying...sounds like Equinox

Thanks Steve. This is one of my best finds... Deeper than 12 inches, waves, wind. It took me sometime to get It out. And finally, heavy woman's wedding ring. Dated 1957...

Hi, I've been visiting the forum for a while and I've decided to register and contribute what little I know... I dedicate to the search for gold on the beach, only beach; and I have about 6 years. Several VLFs have passed through my hands and I currently use an Equinox 800, a Legend (underwater) and I have just purchased an X-TERRA Pro. And it also works, a heavy "750" gold ring on the first day of use!!! 6.65 Gr. Low tide about 6 inches deep... That sound...mmm...very Equinox-like... I must have more than 2000h. from Equinox.
