  1. Still looks like a lot of snow. Nice photos.
  2. Nice finds! I have the Gold Gain with 2 coils including the Supersix also. They are are great detectors. Runs thru nails nice and quiet.
  3. The older Tesoro's could be hip mounted and needed the longer cable. Bandido 2 umax is a highly desired detector for many and hard to get one. I have a Tesoro Tejon and a Lobo ST with internal ground balance adjusted. I will be hip mounting my Lobo ST.
  4. I call it negative ground balance when I raise the coil off the ground and it makes a sound. When I lower the coil to the ground it makes a sound and I loose performance. Most detectors it doesn't work. Analog detectors work best. I have 2 detector that it works.
  5. Double Score is looking good.
  6. Nice looking ring. Weird markings, has to be 18k.
  7. Good point. It has to be the very mild ground I have. Monte started it, calling Tesoro's power balancing. I see a difference in my mild ground.
  8. Good to hear you were using the Tarsacci. Nice deep find.
  9. Thank you, I'll let you know if I see any difference. My ground is very mild. Some detectors can be made hot with a neg ground balance.
  10. My ground is very mild and my Tesoro's gain quite a bit more depth with a negative ground balance. I just bought an F19. I can't test it right now because it's winter in northern MI. My question is, has anyone ground balanced the F19 with a negative ground balance and gained more depth . A lot detectors negative ground balance doesn't help. I'll find out in the spring but would like to know now.
