Minelab X-Terra 705 50's Cap Gun & Bullets Finds

Here's a woodland metal detecting hunt with my Minelab X-Terra 705. I was out in the woodland I've only visited a couple of times and on previous metal detecting trips, my friends and I have found a variety of old coins and bullets so we continue to metal detect the area to see what else it has to offer. On this particular metal detecting trip with the Minelab X-Terra 705, I managed to unearth a 1950's metal kids cap gun, it still has lovely engraved detail on it which made it identifying it very easy. Along with the gun, the Minelab X-Terra 705 metal detector also found me some more lead bullets, rifle casings and the usual bits of trash too, but the gun was certainly the find of the trip. -

Here's a short video from just my second time using my new Minelab X-Terra 705 Metal Detector just last Sunday. I was visiting some woodland we have permission to hunt on and took my Mnelab and the very first find was a Canadian coin which is something I was not expecting to find considering I detect in the North East of England, UK and it is in outstanding condition. OK, it's not the oldest coin but why it was found where it was if a mystery, it wasn't the only coin of the day either, finding a 1913 farthing too. Along with the coins, the Minelab X-terra 705 metal detector also found me some old lead bullets, some bullets casings and a little bit of trash too. I was detecting with a more experienced friend who declared the Canadian coin the find of the day and the farthing the oldest, so the Minelab X-Terra 705 did me proud :D #metaldetecting #minelabxterra705

This shows that a GPZ 7000 can be made to work on a salt water beach, at least enough for a video. It was not mentioned in the video but the TDI used for comparison was probably run with ground balance off. The TDI is a formidable beach detector in straight up non-ground balance mode.

Just posted to YouTube, 1 hour 22 minutes video shot by independent operators (no Minelab ties) in Australia. I am speaking at the local club meeting in an hour so am just going to post this without viewing and run. You guys have to watch and offer your thoughts for me when I get back in three hours!
