schoolofhardNox
All I want from Nokta, Minelab or anyone else in a PI is - raw depth on a coin sized object. Combine that with decent EMI mitigation, and just beat my 5000 in depth and smoothness of tone. I can live without the minor discrimination of iron feature. Come to New England and test your unit side by side with my 5000. If yours wins, I will be the first one to root for you on line. 3 Link to comment https://www.detectorprospector.com/topic/17881-nokta-pulse-induction-gold-prospecting-detector/page/14/#findComment-251483 Share on other sites
Popular Post Desert Dawg
I have pared down my gold detectors to a single one from past experience and best performance overall, a Gold Bug 2 with LCD readout, 3x6 & 10x5 coils at present, even sold my gpx6000, as well as gpx4500, and gpx 4000 also sold my Minelab vlf gold machine the Gold Monster, even sold my 2008 4x4 Rhino since its sitting more than used, I have a awesome late model 22 4runner TRD Pro to get to any good gold locations still. Now waiting still for Nokta to come out with a viable PI for nugget use. I am ready at any time to buy a new Nokta Gold PI machine. Money saved and waiting on you. 10 Link to comment https://www.detectorprospector.com/topic/17881-nokta-pulse-induction-gold-prospecting-detector/page/14/#findComment-281456 Share on other sites
Jeff McClendon
Dilek had a live stream today 10/1/2024 that was mostly about the Legend v1.16 beta software public release with final version release later this month after October 11th 2024 which should be the last ever Legend software update. She also specifically mentioned that field testing for Nokta's gold prospecting pulse induction detector is starting very soon with Nokta staff doing testing in Australia and with other worldwide testers getting test units. She made it clear that the gold prospecting PI will be released first and that both it and the coin/relic versions will be FULLY waterproof. She did not mention waterproof depth. 9 Link to comment https://www.detectorprospector.com/topic/17881-nokta-pulse-induction-gold-prospecting-detector/page/14/#findComment-282009 Share on other sites

That's great to hear Jeff, thanks for letting us know. I'm looking forward to seeing what they've achieved with this one, I'd assume the Relic model is taking longer as it has the Target ID's and or iron discrimination taking longer to sort out. 2 Link to comment https://www.detectorprospector.com/topic/17881-nokta-pulse-induction-gold-prospecting-detector/page/14/#findComment-282017 Share on other sites

Bohemia Miner
If I had to guess based on the way they price their machines, probably under $2k maybe even minus $1500. One can hope, right? 2 Link to comment https://www.detectorprospector.com/topic/17881-nokta-pulse-induction-gold-prospecting-detector/page/14/#findComment-282256 Share on other sites
