Make Any Detector Feel Lite-weight And A Breeze To Swing. News Release

Recommended Posts

Doc,

Took the Qweegle out for a test run and it worked just fine.  First reaction is how much relief my right arm got - basically letting me swing all day without discomfort.  I did have to switch from left side support to right side support and I'm still searching for the proper length.  But I'll get that in a trip or two.  Got four nuggets totaling 1.3 grams.  Thanks.

A limited number of QWIPPLES™ are in stock.  The other 3000 of them are stuck in customs. they are probably trying to decide if it is some device used in Sado-Masochism shenanigans.  LOL

Here's the link to my web page.  I have about 25 in stock I should have the rest in about 7 days.  Thank you for your interest.

Will this work on my new Craftsman corded lawn trimmer? These lawn trimmers all need shoulder straps too to relieve shoulder pain, might give you a large 2nd market for them?

Yes they sure will I have sold several for that purpose.

I've just received mine and have no idea how to attach it to the shaft of the 6000.  There is a long strip of Velcro and a small pad of sticky sided Velcro.  How does this work?  You don't say anything in the video about attaching the bottom element of the bungee unit.  Is it suppose to be self-intuitive and do I need to cut part of the Velcro off??  Looking forward to trying it.

Initially take the adhesive backed hook and loop piece and put it aside.  Go ahead and attach the rod adjustment device, and use it for a while until you decide where you want it on the shaft.  High or low, rotated left or right, etc.  Once you do that, and figure out the perfect position, you can use the adhesive backed Velcro like patch apply it to the rod and reattach the rod adjustment plastic piece so it does not move on the rod.

The instructions say to cut the Velcro to size to suit your detector, then singe it with a lighter or something to stop it fraying.  I didn't want to do that as I intend to use it on various detectors that would require it to be different lengths to suit their shaft thickness, especially with the GPZ being so different to the GPX.  In my case I used some Fabric glue to glue some Velcro onto the strip so it had somewhere to attach so I could leave it full length with no cutting and just stick it down to the shaft.

I'm no good at sewing and find the fabric glue great stuff, works every time I need to join bits of fabric, probably tougher than stitching anyway.  I've never had any problems.

I've not bothered to use the Velcro tape seeing I want to use it on various detectors, it holds well enough in place.  I might add it and get some more and put it on the other detectors too if it moves around.

Sorry for the blurry photo I couldn't be bothered taking it again, I blame Apple.  Anyway, that's the Velcro right in the spot for the end of the strap to attach.
