Popular Post StarVatrex
Yesterday afternoon I decided to take the car and go to a small beach that has always given good results. The winds were just right and the low tide was about to begin. It was going to get dark so I bet it's safe, today it's Nox900... Upon arrival I observed that the beach was sanded by the effect of the wind and boulders of considerable size on the upper edge of the shore. We have had three days of strong wind, it is the day and the place. Lets go! Summer hasn't started yet and we have to take out old signals. This is the setup I used for Surfing and Wading: Beach 1, All metal On, Traking On, sensibility between 9 to 16, Recovery speed 4 and FE 2. 5 tones and the Gold appeared again! 😎 The earring is Gold plated... 18 1 Link to comment https://www.detectorprospector.com/topic/25926-a-good-day-at-the-beach-with-the-nox-900/ Share on other sites

This year something more prepared, one new Nemo, Manticore and Nox 900. It seems a little better to me than 800 for silver, likes Gold just as much or more. With the Manticore for now I still don't fully understand it. That Silver is from a couple of hunts... 3 Link to comment https://www.detectorprospector.com/topic/25926-a-good-day-at-the-beach-with-the-nox-900/#findComment-273605 Share on other sites

StarVatrex
And before going to work, a little water, which is always good... Nothing remarkable, very few signs (the ground is soft) there is a lot of new sand. Thinking about whether to update or not, I am approaching a disabled access area. Some special chairs and railings. I cancel their signal, and next to the exit...Bang! Men's wedding ring, 3 grams. Signed 'Irene 1964' It's marked and somewhat dented, I think they had tried to remove it on some occasion. Deep, no initial ID, a couple of scoops and a solid 28 appeared. For now, I don't update... 😎 3 1 Link to comment https://www.detectorprospector.com/topic/25926-a-good-day-at-the-beach-with-the-nox-900/#findComment-274416 Share on other sites
StarVatrex
...I definitely think it is superior to the Nox800 in depth and above all sensitivity. I like the beach mode, but I think that the algorithm used is slightly weighted at low frequencies, more 2 than 1. I have tried to use the park mode for hunting in wet sand (I like park 2) and with the 800 I was never successful able to execute it without having a 'schizophrenic flute'. I'm starting out half-able to run it with the 900. Park 2, sensitivity between 12-14, manual ground balance to 0 and with a high recovery speed (above 7) the trace begins to be audible...the test was at 20 kHz. Curious device... That shore was made in Park 2 and came out one bracelet, a clear 6-7 ID. 'LOTUS STYLE MEN'S STAINLESS STEEL BRACELET DARK STYLE LS2129-2/1-' I'll continue testing... 4 Link to comment https://www.detectorprospector.com/topic/25926-a-good-day-at-the-beach-with-the-nox-900/#findComment-274959 Share on other sites

StarVatrex
...I've been away for a few days for work reasons. Last night I arrived at Malaga airport and a couple of hours by car and home. Unbearable heat, so I went down to take a swim on the beach below the house. The Nox was a faithful companion and in just a short time the Mediterranean Sea was once again generous to me. This machine loves Gold. Large 14k Rose Gold men's ring. Signed 585. And a new Pandora Silver bracelet. This summer promises! 😎 2 1 Link to comment https://www.detectorprospector.com/topic/25926-a-good-day-at-the-beach-with-the-nox-900/#findComment-277404 Share on other sites
