TE Gold
Is there a speculated release date for the gold model yet? If it's as light as a 6k, more stable threshold, and filters out hot rocks like 7k, even if it's a bit less sensitive than a 6k, I would be interested for sure. About a month ago in a live feed, Dilek talked about it and said they were "close to the end". 1 Link to comment https://www.detectorprospector.com/topic/25928-nokta-pi-gold-nokta-pi-relic-added-to-database/page/2/#findComment-274708 Share on other sites

At the rate they are going release by end of year, general availability next year, seems realistic. Nokta has been very slow on this compared to how fast they develop VLF models. I expected the PI years ago and we are still waiting. 3 Link to comment https://www.detectorprospector.com/topic/25928-nokta-pi-gold-nokta-pi-relic-added-to-database/page/2/#findComment-274709 Share on other sites

No aftermarket coils. If the Nokta performs just as well as the Axiom but is waterproof, I’ll switch. If it performs better in any way, bonus. If they have good coils for in water use, which a waterproof machine is bound to have, better yet. If the aftermarket supports them, and they always have, home run. As long as the price is right, and they are swearing it will be. Consider me already sold, it’s their game to screw up and lose. Nokta has a habit of trying to "One Up" Minelab. So, maybe a lighter Waterproof machine with more than one coil (SDC2300). I would hazard a guess that the Axiom coils are styrofoam inside to keep them light. The new Vortex has a submersible (to 16') Apex/Axiom-style pod. I doubt they will ever use it to modify those models or even make a waterproof Axiom. It'll be interesting to see what Nokta comes up with. I'm sure we won't be disappointed. 3 Link to comment https://www.detectorprospector.com/topic/25928-nokta-pi-gold-nokta-pi-relic-added-to-database/page/2/#findComment-274795 Share on other sites
