I keep seeing those two Washingtons staring each other down.....old George says.... "Who are you ,and what happened to your face ?"

Keeping on a target can be next to impossible sometimes. So many things to fight .

Besides the waves gettin' pushy , soft bottom can fill back in fast and the targets are deeper , the sharks keep getting in the way..       Skull's look for harder bottom clue will help ya fer sure.  👍  The rips are a blessing sometimes , clearing out the soft stuff . Look for lower areas on the beach. And don't go out too faaaaaaaarrrr ! 🏴‍☠️🥸

Those socks inside the shoes didn't make you look funny , they made you look smart .(plus they will last longer>>>) All the people pointing and laughing were clueless no doubt.. 😆 Maybe they'll even drop some change just cuz they feel sorry for ya ?  🤣

Plus , if you're an old guy on the beach with a detector , there ARE certain expectations. I'm proud of you for not letting the brotherhood down .

Brotherly advice...On D2 consider 40 to 80 as a safety range...Several surprises start at 40 points.

Thanks, I do that, really anything that gives me a positive tone I go after, quite a few bottle caps in the water, but I bias for them so if I see an 04 and hear iron I know. It's been suggested I will miss nickels and small gold but I never seem to.

The fat head Washington coins kinda bug me 🫤 without the BH-1 headphones I can't go out too far, when I've immersed the remote about 3" the signal drops. Therefore I rely on the tide to be waist deep or less. One would hope that at some point XP would make High Square go through, but maybe there is some good reason.

I was pleased with what I could throw together in 2 days, the combo works well. 👍 Going to do some more water hunting until the jellyfish roll in.

Help a poor brother out.  Find enough to buy me some new booties since I haven’t been detecting.  😆

What I got was pretty cheap, and didn't let the sand in. They fit tight like compression socks:

Wish I could put up a pic. They have reinforced soles but I would not wear them alone.

As expected they were hard to get off.

Can you provide a link for the 5 mm neoprene socks, if you recommend them?

I certainly can, welcome to the forum. 🙂

Used them again today, and again no sand or rocks. They have a sole but it's thin, is recommend wearing them inside water shoes. As for size, I'm a 9.5 and a 10 fits great. Check tonight's post! 😄
