Yatahaze323
I really wanted one to use on the beach and in the saltwater, so I'm hoping it comes out some time soon. But if algoforce releases a waterproof version I would get that over waiting for nokta's offerings. 2 Link to comment https://www.detectorprospector.com/topic/26187-noktas-new-pi-machines/page/3/#findComment-279242 Share on other sites
Ridge Runner
It’s been a long time that anything has been said from Nokta other than us here on the forum about their PI detectors. To keep a donkey motivated you hang a carrot 🥕 out in front of it but we here haven’t heard not one word to keep us motivated other than Nokta asking us to name both the nugget and relic detectors way back when. I’m also wondering why a relic and nugget detector. I just don’t see how you could draw a line where the relic would stop and the nugget would take over in a PI detector. I do remember when the 4800 and 5000 came out and you did get less in the 4800 plus it was less in price. How it’s going to work between Nokta relic and nugget detector they only know. Back to the carrot 🥕 I myself would be happy with a few bread crumbs just to know what’s going on behind Nokta doors 🚪. Surely they didn’t trash can the idea of a PI from Nokta being everybody’s brother mother and sister has come out with a PI detector ? Myself like so many entered the naming contest and like so many we may never know the winner because you got to have something to name first . Nokta you have a lot of us waiting and we hope it’s not for not . phrunt
Perhaps they're going to do things like Target ID on the relic, and leave that sort of thing out on the prospecting one, but then again when a competitor is offering it on the gold machine at an already low cost then perhaps they would be better off with just a single unit giving more value for money. 4 Link to comment https://www.detectorprospector.com/topic/26187-noktas-new-pi-machines/page/3/#findComment-279270 Share on other sites
Mike C...
IMO-its better to have a tested-problem free ready for the market beeper than a company (without dropping any names) that puts it out to the consumer with faulty coils and a erratic thresh hold problems💩 1 Link to comment https://www.detectorprospector.com/topic/26187-noktas-new-pi-machines/page/3/#findComment-279313 Share on other sites
JRDIGS
Oh ya. This has my interest. So far legend has exceeded expectations. Would live a PI machine for some specialized locations. 1 Link to comment https://www.detectorprospector.com/topic/26187-noktas-new-pi-machines/page/3/#findComment-280877 Share on other sites
Bohemia Miner
In their October video for the V1.16 Beta for the Legend, Dilek mentioned the PI was coming soon. The Gold First, then the Relic version. And, they would be waterproof. However, she also said she didn't know to what depth, making it sound like they're not as far along as one might think. 3 Link to comment https://www.detectorprospector.com/topic/26187-noktas-new-pi-machines/page/3/#findComment-283044 Share on other sites

Ridge Runner
I would give it to me for Christmas if it would get here by then but I don’t believe we’ll will see that happening. They say good things come to those who wait but all I’ve gained out of waiting is weight. We’ve got two PI detectors that we are wanting to hit the US market and if the first price is right plus hits that small gold then the other is a day late like just as well go home. The reason I say small gold because that’s your bread and butter. Anything bigger is just cream on top. I wonder if Dilek knows that I’m up for adoption? Steve Herschbach
3 hours ago, Bohemia Miner said: Here's the latest teaser: Not a thing new there. He simply repackaged an old video from Dilek as “new” information. Same stuff was posted long ago on this thread. Bottom line is the machine is in testing, no secret there, and all but 100% certain to be released in 2025. I’m definitely interested as I think it might be the fully submersible replacement for my Axiom I’ve been waiting for. But I’m sure not holding my breath. It’s the first real PI from Nokta and they need to take the time to get it right. I’ll be happy to get my hands on one any time in 2025…. it’s literally the only metal detector I do not have that I have any interest in at all now. Count me as first in line.
