AI certainly is going to make some cheap boxes available from startups/knockoffs, and they may be adequate and take away market share.  They abound now on some of the online stores.

With how this has played out I would expect if they announce it officially now they won't ship out until 2026.

Nokta has been pretty quiet for quite some time now. I know they watch the DP forum, so my hope is that means all their focus is on releasing the new PI'S. We all know how these things seem to go. At this point it probably has so many bugs to work out it puts a flea circus to shame. Hopefully soon though! I would at least like to see some kind of update.

Yeah its looking a bit sad, no word yet. The Detecting podcast that made this announcement with Dilek has been very quiet regarding their June 2025 prediction. @Jeff McClendon, have you heard any whispers? 

On a side note, I wouldn't be surprised if Nokta are now working on an SMF-FBS version of the Gold Kruzer to combat the Gold Monster 2000 now as well.

 Well they did make good phones back in the day. Seems like everyone is making detectors these days.   If the new detector model is the 3310 then I'm in 😁

I have no direct knowledge of anything. I did hear the American Digger/Relic Roundup show on June 23rd. A Nokta Nomad HotMessFishin was the guest and she basically said, its waterproof, it will be fully competitive with the top PIs, gold PI will be released first, followed by the relic PI, and it's being field tested. HotMessFishin (Elisha) said Dilek will not make an announcement until it is about to be released.
