Nice hunt and so you have started on getting your wife some personalized items, good choice.

I see that you have moved onto Army Surplus for your car lot also.

Good luck and stay safe out there.

Heh, there isn't a Toyota made that will do what my F350 can do, but it might have been fun to find a beater that I could use for beach trips. 🤣 I did push the horn button but those keys look like they've been there a while.

I'm a believer in irony if I'm not going to get really good jewelry. 😁

Thanks VL. I'm a little put off by the pink camo on the tank. 😬 Takes urban warfare to a new level I guess. 🤷‍♂️

Thanks for the pics 350 good to see you out there...those silver Roosevelt's are hard to find for some reason...think I've found more barbers and mercs then silver rosevelts over the years...maybe the Gov-ment took them out of circulation early on or they were hoarded by the population?? never understood it myself...was detecting an island one day only accessible by boat and a guy pulls up next to me and after he gets settled he asks the typical smart aleck thing "you find my gold watch yet?" I said no but I found your truck keys and handed him the a nice new key fob with about 6-7 keys on it 🙂

Thanks strick,

I didn't find one for a long time, and was surprised to see this one. My first silver dime was a '16 Merc but not the rare one, and I've found two or three of them at this beach. There is one spot in which older stuff is still turning up.

60 coins in one 6 hour day was pretty satisfying in its own right. 🥳

We'll see what damage we get from Debby this week, might be a good opportunity. 🙂

That’s clear evidence of a lot of walking and digging….as you always do my friend!  👍🏻😊

Thanks Colonel,

I was a little nervous about all that walking (and the heat) but pushed a little bit. Not sure that was a great idea, but I will be getting a bit of rest with the storm coming.
