JCR
Very interesting & informative. Link to comment https://www.detectorprospector.com/topic/26385-found-two-new-frequencies-on-the-deus-2/#findComment-278727 Share on other sites
DWerk
Interesting and harmonic relations? Link to comment https://www.detectorprospector.com/topic/26385-found-two-new-frequencies-on-the-deus-2/#findComment-278784 Share on other sites
JCR
I assume the TX strength of each individual frequency is the same & the D2's signal processing is where the magic happens? But yes, what about any harmonic frequencies? Mark Gillespie
Harmonic Frequencies is a very interesting part of frequency transmissions. I'm not experienced enough to elaborate on the subject, but I think DWerk, is. 1 Link to comment https://www.detectorprospector.com/topic/26385-found-two-new-frequencies-on-the-deus-2/#findComment-278958 Share on other sites
DWerk
A very simple example of harmonics can be found: https://www.amateur-radio-wiki.net/harmonics/ . I am surprised that you are not seeing them on your monitor; unless the sensitivity is not set high enough. DWerk
Notice that you are seeing the harmonic (or close to it) since you are looking at 4.4 and 13.5; 13.2 is the 3rd harmonic of 4.4! 1 Link to comment https://www.detectorprospector.com/topic/26385-found-two-new-frequencies-on-the-deus-2/#findComment-279134 Share on other sites
Mark Gillespie
DWerk, you are correct, I have purposely reduced the sensitivity in order to locate the transmit frequencies (without the harmonics in the mix).
