Yep, at least for me to use it, I would need to be a sea level instead of 5,600' altitude where I usually detect and I would need a good swing harness.

That weight is hugely disappointing......are all those ribs needed !

I don't think my M15 will be getting a bigger brother.

Well I've saved $525 so there's the positive side I guess.

Yes, you get more coverage per swing but NOT more coverage at the end of the day if your shoulder is feeling it after a couple of hours swinging🤬

BTW......The first person to cut out those 8 ribs automatically joins the DP "Hall of Fame" and attains "Legendary" status for life.

Looks a bit like the shaft struggles to cope with the big beast!

I can't wait to get one, this coil really suits my needs.    It's likely perfect for my conditions, deep coins in mild soils, it's target ID's seem to hold up quite well too.  It's under a kilo so to me that's just fine for some casual cruising along covering ground.

@Jeff McClendon you'll have yourself some good lungs detecting at that attitude.

Ouch....8:27 mark.......how to quickly destroy a coil by severe lack of spare cable to take up the slack......amateurs.

I want some pictures, Simon.  Your swing arm is going to look something like this...

Yup, and I prefer to have the connection on the coil behind the shaft instead of in front of it. Helps protect it from getting knocked against things.

Quality control testing!

Most test coils use standard Minelab length leads some of which is further lost in termination. That’s why it’s so tight and yes used to test flick sensitivity. One of the many tests that doesn’t get shown but part of a normal QA program. I hope that clears that up.
